Most of us were laughing too watching your over-rated team getting waxed while giving up 51 points thanks to an aging D and a QB that directly gave up 14 points to the opposition in a playoff game. Nice FF QB though

Aging D? Too funny.

BTW...that aging D held your Bears and your little buddy Cutler to 29 points in 2 games...so keep talking smack.

Hilarious that you would bag on Rodgers given Cutler has never made the postseason and led the league in interceptions.

Wow, you are really that dumb aren't you.

BTW...you never answered in that other thread...why is it that Williams and Omiyale can improve but guys like TJ Lang cannot?

I won't hold my breath for that answer though.

He never answers your questions. He never makes an attempt to engage in any sort of fact-based discussion. It's just all FUDGEPACKERS 51 points! how sad!! BWAHAHAHAAHHA!

They didn't get waxed.... the lost in overtime.... that's pretty much the opposite of getting waxed....

Waxed is what has happened to your Chicago Lions 25 times out of the last 35 times they have played the Green Bay Packers....

HTH!

We own you: Past, present, and future :pointstosky:

Perhaps you were laughing at something on the Figure Skating Championships that you Bear fans are used to watching on Sundays in January?? :pointstosky:

Oh and for the record, the Packers needed an idiotic snap to a gnome of a RB that hopefully won't be on the roster anymore on 4th and long to win that 1st game. Partly because your line made Ogunleye look like a worldbeater in that game. Hate to see what an actual worldbeater will do. But hey, maybe he won't show up that day.

true...it took a breakdown in the bears secondary for the packers to sneak off with that win at home.....

as for gb having the #2 D in 09...lets be honest about it..with that schedule, they SHOULDVE been #2...

there are solid players on that D...clay matthews was a tremendous move by ted....

but they arent close to being a #2 D....more middle of the pack...

cutler never kicked a ball away for a playoff OT loss either....thats an all-timer, isnt it?

he looked down and KICKED the focking ball.....had that been brett, you and others would still be up in arms over it....

he KICKED the ball....a tuck rule incomplete..and he KICKED it...aye...

Well...hard for Cutler to do that in playoff game since he has never gotten to the postseason.

All timer? kick or no kick the game was ending on that play.

I would say the same thing had it been Brett...the kick was such a minimal thing. Not protecting the ball there was the problem. A free man coming in on a blitz was the problem. Not the kick (which was done to try and keep the ball close to him. Id excuse the kick part no matter who was the QB.

But for anyone to use that to bash Rodgers after that game...and somehow try to say something about Cutler in it...freaking high comedy.

A few things

*** your obsession with Aaron Rodgers in a Bears thread is noted for the judge ****

Kicking it up was just a split-second reaction..... if it would have went to a Packer, all works out great.... I actually think that was smart. You are being taken down for 9 seconds by your facemask and there are five AZ defenders waiting to scrape the ball off the ground and bring it in... the ball bounced wrong.... but if it hits the ground; same result...

Yes, he held on to the ball too long.... But on third down with his defense not stopping AZ all day, he had to make a play.... He takes a sack and the game is over....

Now if he would have thrown an extremely dumbass across his body INT to lose the game when he could have crawled/moonwalked backwards/crabwalked into automatic Ryan Longwell's field goal range for the win and led you to your franchise's first Super Bowl since the 1970s, I think that boneheadness would be worth an off-topic Bmoney posting in a Bears thread.....

The thing that makes Favre's bonehead play even worse is that Minn completely outplayed NO and deserved to win..... I don't know if you can say that about the Packers.... despite Rodgers awesome performance (425 and 5 TDs), that defense was just pathetic and probably didn't deserve to be winners...

Another thing that makes it much worse is that Favre is 41; Rodgers just turned 26 :bandana:

It's been a pleasure owning you in a new thread

that defense was just pathetic

:pointstosky: Agreed! Some reality is setting in....now what will make that D better this year? That's right .... nothing has been done by dumb and dumber yet. If anything, Harris might be out entire season or just too gimpy to be very effective. And the schedule is not the NFC West and AFC North.....NFC and AFC East are no walk in the park except for the Bills and Redskins. So how is that pathetic D improved since last season? If anything, Woodson is one more year older.

You can keep hoping Harris is out.

Well, what has changed? They won't be playing Kurt Warner again?

Cause that "pathetic D" (don was talking about in one game, not all year moron) held your little Bears to 29 points.

Funny how that schedule did not seem to help your Bears either.

But keep worrying about the Packers D...lol.

"Nothing has been done"? Maybe that's foreign to you because you think something has to be done via trade or FA for success. That's too bad.

Rookies Matthews Jr., Raji, and Brad Jones are going to be more experienced. Young guys like T Williams, B Underwood, P Lee, and W Blackmon get another year to progress. They all begin to get more comfortable in the 3/4 defense.

It's sad that you expose yourself as more of and internet geek than football fan. Apparently you don't understand the game at all if you believe that the only routes to success are through FA and trades.

You embarrass yourself a lot.

And yet the Bears were one drive away from winning both games and could easily have won both. In fact, it took 5 turn overs AND a gift on special teams for the fudgepackers to steal one at home. Since then, the Bears have improved on both the O and the D, adding 2 HOF players on D. And the fudgepackers are going to be without one of their best D players in Harris. Keep dreaming about your over-rated team. Reality will set in this year....

So then what the f's your problem? The Packers suck because they don't make desperate moves through trades/FA, but the Bears do so they're legit? Their 2009 records tell a different story. We'll see what happens in 2010.

Added 2 HOF players? No, not really. Urlacher has been on that team for quite some time.

Why do you keep thinking they will be without Harris...Id say you need to check out NationalFootballPost.com and watch his 4 rehab videos. There is no way that guy will not be out there game one next year.

BTW...true...he could not just "kick" it to a teammate...but while being pulled down, his foot comes up...it would have been a tough call for them to make...especially while missing a facemask. But to still kill him for that kick is just freaking stupid. No it was not a good play...but hardly some big joke like you want it to be.

Favre had a parted red sea of open territory to easily get into automatic Longwell's range -- GAME OVER!

Rodgers could have ran for 40 yards through that gigantic hole, although unlike Favre, Rodgers is young and athletic.....

the facemask? of course I saw it..but it was legal....

as the nfl said...it was a good play....

In a statement, an NFL spokesman pointed out that an "incidental grasp" of the facemask is allowed. The rule reads that "no player shall twist, turn, or pull the facemask of an opponent in any direction."

when you and don learn the nfl rules...you can feel to chime in and talk about wanting reality....til then...go find a rule book online and quit making excuses for #12....

who looked down...and KICKED at the ball....good times....or as don would say..a SMART play

a next year that includes favre beating gb twice again? why does that excite you? oh yeah..the stats rodgers will put up while trailing?

dont forget the fumbles in the vikes game, skip....the vikes outplayed the saints because of 1 guy...old man brett with 1 leg....if it hadnt been for brett, they lose by 14...

bad adp fumble deep...bad rice fumble...and the ol man STILL took the sb champs to the end....

rodgers wouldve ran for 40 yards, but you are talking nfc title game....that and rodgers dont belong in the same sentence...he lost to a team that gave up 95 points in 6 quarters...#2 d...favre didnt put his team in a big hole early and KICK the game away....

aaron did..he KICKED the freeking ball.....

or are you talking about rodgers running for 40 yards in a pro bowl that no one showed up to?...

rodgers is almost half favres age..he SHOULD be more athletic...lets not give credit to people because of their age....

Rodgers problem? His defense gave up 51 points....

I don't think his 430 yards and 5 TDs on the road against the defending NFC Champs was the problem, dumbass

I also don't think his being the only quarterback in history to throw for 4,000-plus yards in his first two seasons was the problem...

Consider that Favre himself went for 19 TDs/24 INTs in his second season and that might give you a little something to think about as you try to wrap your little mind around Rodgers awesome numbers

Favre also had an INT and a fumble before his dreadful game-losing INT.... He also had a couple bonehead balls right in NO defenders hands that should have been easily caught.

Sealing Minn (clearly the better team)'s fate with a bonehead INT when he could have crawled into automatic Longwell's FG range

CHECK!

Holding up Minn. rebuilding and ruining their chances of competing long term by sticking around

CHECK!

Rodgers looking like one of the best players in the NFL for the next 13-15 years

CHECK!

BMoney owned for the one billionth time...

CHECK!!!!

CHECK!!!!

next 13-15 years? hahahahaha....

I see you have NO idea what Longwells range is..did you forget what team he played for before minny? I bet you did....how many 54 yarders was he hitting in the last 4 years? dome or no dome?...hmm?

comparing favres receivers in his 2nd year to Rodgers shows what little you know....but its a shock to no one...

as if that wasnt clear already......and whats with the CHECK? is that your Tourettes kicking in?

I didnt realize that the packers D kicked the ball right to a cardinal player for the loss...Ill have to see that replay again....

as for favres first INT..the nfl admitted they goofed up not calling that a personal foul on NO..so nice try....

but Im guessing you didnt know that...as you thought Rodgers kicking the ball was smart....

please keep on....you are quite entertaining...

the facemask? of course I saw it..but it was legal....

as the nfl said...it was a good play....

Well...if the NFL said it...btw...the NFL also said it was the right call of PI against Minnesota...but Im not buying it.

Not sure how they could say the guy did not pull down on the facemask. Either way, I have never blamed the loss on that, the ball was already out...so no need to start now.

Incidental is hilarious...even when that used to be a call...that would have been the 15 yard variety and not the 5...he pulled down and all the way to the ball.

And Im not making excuses...I have said over and over the ball was already out...it was Rodgers fault.

But all you can do is whine about the kick. Yeah...big Packer fan you are...all you do is rip the team.
