surferskin 30 Posted April 21, 2010 per ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter. Wonder how many girls he can molest in a month? Which state are we talking? Nevada or Georgia? Because I'm sure if we're talking GA co-eds, he's raping them by the dozen.
Fenster 6 Posted April 21, 2010 so is it 4, 5, or 6? 6, but can get reduced down to 4 depending on how many girls he porks against their will.

Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted April 21, 2010 6, but can get reduced down to 4 depending on how many girls he porks against their will. Kinda. According to Greg Rosenthal: The conditional suspension will be a minimum of four games, but can reportedly be reduced based on Roethlisberger's behavior and compliance with clinical evaluators. Counseling may wind up being part of the deal, in addition to possible random alcohol testing.

So, maybe he should remain celibate? Because broads would never dream of getting a payday from having sex with a pro athlete and fabricating a story where the court of public opinion smears the person even when they are never charged with a crime. Fenster 6 Posted April 21, 2010 NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says ESPN has jumped the gun. pft.com
kmbryant09 1 Posted April 21, 2010 He's not being charged with a crime, he is not being convicted of a crime, and at no point did I hear the word guilty. What exactly is your definition of a crime? Goodell has stressed that you don't need to be found guilty of a crime to face an NFL punishment. He's stressed that it is a personal conduct policy - and if you act in a bad manner, placing yourself, team, or the NFL at risk of earning a bad reputation, than you can be suspended. That being said, Roethlisberger did have sex in a public place, and bought alcohol for a minor (or at least was in the presence of a minor drinking). I'm not sure how much truth there is to it, but I've heard that the girls' friends tried getting into the bathroom to help her out, but Ben's bodyguards wouldn't let them near the door. Also, from my understanding, the camera tapes were mysteriously DELETED after first glance, before the police could get there hands on it and use it against Ben. It all just sounds fishy, and it's the second accusation against Ben for pretty much the same incident. Sounds like enough for a suspension to me.

What is to stop fans of the Redskins accuse Tony Romo of sexual assault 2 weeks before the playoffs start? Colts female fans throw out accusations vs Tom Brady? The NFL is sentencing potentially and in this case innocent men. I'll ask again to everyone in general. Do NFL players now have to be celibate? Just in case some fan has an axe to grind. Lackman 0 Posted April 21, 2010 Oh, yeah. Godell is a moron. He is trying to make NFL more fan friendly. I don't think women or children should ever be in a seat in an NFL stadium. You want homefield advantage, then you want a stadium full of drunken animals vomiting on each other in between blood chilling howls of rage. Add trash talking by players on the stadium mics during breaks in action.

Now if Tony Romo/Tom Brady was out at a nightclub, had previously been accused of rape, was getting drunk with underage girls, had his bodyguards watching a public bathroom door while he had sex with a drunk girl (who was underage and had been drinking with), and having the club owner mysteriously erase the tapes, and having an officer resign over this accusation.... well then yes you're most likely looking at a suspension. What exactly is your definition of a crime? sex in a public place and providing alcohol to minors (pretty sure i heard the girl was under 21?)... neither is worthy of a suspension really but are still crimes, regardless if he only gets a slap on the wrist legally. plus the club is at fault for allowing the girl inside in the first place so im sure there was minor legal stuff going on behind the scenes. tikigods 76 Posted April 21, 2010 ESPN reported that the Steelers had begun contacting teams about a possible trade involving Roethlisberger, seeking a top-10 pick in the NFL draft Thursday night in return. At least one team was considering such a deal, according to ESPN's report. Redskins are out. Does a team like the Cardinals trade for him?
Saint Elistan 106 Posted April 21, 2010 Redskins are out. Does a team like the Cardinals trade for him? When did they get a top 10 pick? I'm thinking the Raiders are the only team dumb enough to throw more picks away. I'm not saying they're wasted on Ben...they're wasted because not even Ben can help the Raiders.
