phillybear 366 Posted January 10, 2011 I'll deal with your kind during the week. But I need to hurry up and finish gift wrapping a shoebox full of sugar, labeled as "Free Salt and Absolutely Not Sugar", to send to Jay Cutler's personal chef.

RaiderHaters Revenge 4,543 Posted January 10, 2011 Go Hawks, just think if the Seahawks and Packers win, the 7-9 Seahawks will host the NFC Championship game!!!!
Walter34 3 Posted January 10, 2011 Lovie Smith is a cotton-headed ninny-muggins; Pete Carroll is salivating for this rematch! Carroll is just happy to be playing. He isnt salivating over anyone. This is obviously the matchup that both Atlanta and Chi wanted. It's essentially a bye week and pass into the NFC champiuonship. The seahawks are cute and everything, but arent really a pro football team.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted January 10, 2011 Well Cutler and the Bears are playing better then they were when Seattle came into town and hung a loss on them. I wonder if Okung will make Peppers his little b!tch again? That was fun to watch.

Bishop82 61 Posted January 10, 2011 I just hope that the Seahawk fans don't complain about the game being at noon local time. I know West teams going East playing at noon don't do so well. Good luck Seahawks, you're going to need it against the greatest football franchise in the history of the NFL..... DA BEARS!

Bishop82 61 Posted January 10, 2011 I believe it was a 3pm (chicago time) game, but nice try. Actually I stand corrected, the Seahawks were able to wake up on time and beat the bears. Grats brah

DrJ 0 Posted January 10, 2011 It didn't matter week six did it? Seahawks were coming off of a bye. Even the Browns beat the Patriots and Panthers won one of their 2 games of the season coming off of a bye.
FlaHawker 24 Posted January 10, 2011 Seahawks were coming off of a bye. Even the Browns beat the Patriots and Panthers won one of their 2 games of the season coming off of a bye. Oh so the Hawks won in Chicago beacause of the bye week! Gotcha.
Walter34 3 Posted January 10, 2011 Oh so the Hawks won in Chicago beacause of the bye week! Gotcha. They won because the Bears were a sh!tty team at that time. They were playing like crap and had all kinds of issues. The Bears bye week was the turning point where they removed their heads from their ass. The current team is miles ahead of the one you beat. FlaHawker 24 Posted January 10, 2011 Thank you Lovie, you cotton-headed ninny-muggins: As for the Bears, they were so worried about a potential rematch with the Seahawks that head coach Lovie Smith and his staff spent last week preparing for the Saints. More guarded than Fort Knox, Smith rarely says anything worthy of quotation marks, but last Wednesday, in a weak moment maybe the boredom of the bye week got to him he admitted his coaches were putting together a scouting report on New Orleans. A blatant case of overlooking the Seahawks, http://www.thenewstribune.com/2011/01/10/1495931/americas-team-the-seahawks.html It's good to see the Bears, with a QB who has never played in a playoff game before, taking the Hawks seriously
donhaas 19 Posted January 10, 2011 Oh so the Hawks won in Chicago beacause of the bye week! Gotcha. It's clear to any football fan that the Bears were running a "vanilla" offense and defense that week.... Not really trying... All because they knew that Seattle would win their division, upset heavy overdog New Orleans, and be facing them in the playoffs... Now they know all of Seattle's plays and Seattle knows none of theirs!!! Lovie is a diabolical genius!
Walter34 3 Posted January 10, 2011 Thank you Lovie, you cotton-headed ninny-muggins: It's good to see the Bears, with a QB who has never played in a playoff game before, taking the Hawks seriously This is taken out of context. Smith stated that they had already played Seattle and Philly and therefore had done initial work on them. The Bears had not played or prepared for NO. He stated that they could play any of the 3 and if you prepare for one, you generally will meet the other. Nothing to see hear, but if the Hawks want to take a snippet and call it bulletin board material, knock yourselves out.
phillybear 366 Posted January 10, 2011 The current team is miles ahead of the one you beat. This Seattle team is miles better than the one that beat Chicago, then stumbled down the stretch. We got healthier, much healthier. And a switch simply clicked "on" and two wins later, Seattle is playing their best football of the season with tons of momentum. Either Hasselbeck was struggling with his broken wrist and hip, or starting Seattle WRs were hurt and out, and Lynch had to get used to the blocking schemes, and Michael Robinson is healthy again, and offensive line is a bit more stable, and I can go on and on. Short of the Tatupu injury, I feel good about this week.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted January 10, 2011 Im torn on this one. I hate the Bears and always want them to lose. But think a Bears/Packers NFC title game would be fun (if the Packers can beat ATL). But as annoying as Hawker has been after one win...it would get downright out of control if the Seahawks win another.

The Bears however have a strong defence and running game unlike NO. Anytime a QB has to throw 60 passes, they are in trouble.

The Bears however have a strong defence and running game unlike NO. Anytime a QB has to throw 60 passes, they are in trouble. While Saturday was predictably a shoot out as the first NO Seattle game this season was a precursor of what to expect, I don't expect the Bears to be aggressive offensively and they will be very conservative, choosing to sit back and wait for Seattle mistakes. I expect a low scoring game, like StLouis vs Seattle Week 17. A game of chess. Cutler vs Hasselbeck. A matchup of two very inconsistent QBs. At this point, I think Seattle has more confidence in Hasselbeck to play positively, and the Bears might be scared to unleash Cutler, especially if he throws a pick early, and the Seattle defense feels like it is overdue for some INTs. Last time both teams met, we went to over time. Chicago super bowl year, right?

FlaHawker 24 Posted January 10, 2011 Last time both teams met, we went to over time. Chicago super bowl year, right? Yes. However, Seattle had the game in hand at the end of regulation. Driving towards FG range, Hass decided to take a TD shot to Branch on 3rd down when a only few more yards needed to give Brown a shot to win the game. Never understood that decision.
