TD Ryan2 316 Posted January 16, 2011 The Pats are going to blow out the Jets. They will still be passing in the 4th quarter and scoring TDs while the Jets' sideline looks dejected. Afterwards Cromartie, Rex Ryan, Bart Scott, and Ladanian Tomlinson will cry that NE ran up the score and that the Patriots have no class and Tom Brady pointed at them. OhandAlso, they'll hint that NE out to be careful because someone will now be looking to hurt their players.

Not sure they will but if they do you know they are going to. I just hope the Jets players do not try and take cheap shots at Welker and Brady like Scott basically said he was going to. Anyone find a picture of Revis and Butthead
IGotWorms 4,057 Posted January 16, 2011 I have a bad feeling about this game. I keep seeing the jets playing their best game of the last two years under Rex. I see trick plays, exotic coverages. Revis playing all over the field maybe some safety, Kitchen sink will be thrown at the Pats. Though after that I still see the Pats pulling it out, but Pat fans will be sweating it out until the very end. Pats win 21-17. Brady throws GW TD with under two minutes to go. I think it will be close too. 24-20 or something like that. Thank goodness the Pats have Tom Brady because that would be the difference maker in a tight game. Props to the Jets for walking the walk. The Pats just plain out got beat today by the better team. Brady never got into it and neither did the coach. Poorly run offensive plays. No heat. Not ready for the playoffs. No second half adjustments. What a waste of a productive year. Com'on Pitt. But having said that, good win for the Jets. The Pats got beat. Plain and simple. I give credit where credit is due. I have no problem with the Jets winning the game, they earned it. The Pats were living off last win and no ready for the dogfight. Outplayed all the way around. And why not change the pace in the second half and go no-huddle? And why chew up 6 minutes when time is critical by STILL going no huddle and running up the middle. I don't get it. Maybe you should all stop acting like playoff wins are your birthright. Im not joking. Belicheck has already accomplished more than any one else and has nothing left to prove, it didn't even seem like the staff was trying today. Way too many mistake. That was the worst coached game ever. Time to clean out the coaching staff in bring a group that has something to prove. Dropped passes by Crumpler, Branch, and Welker at critical moments also hurt. Patriots are the better team, but not tonight. Did anyone here REALLY think the Patriots WOULDN"T lose at all??!! I, for one, never made that call... always saying the game needs to be played on the field no matter how I may think the odds are in the Pats favor. The Jets had 3 - 5 BIG plays that made the difference in the game for them. The Pats did not have any big plays of any consequence today. AGCSBill, just a fan havin' fun!! Give credit to the Jets for not making costly mistakes, and executing when given good field position by Pats' mistakes. In football you gotta make the best of every opportunity, and they did. Pats need to learn what it means to be UP for a game. This was a repeat of the Superbowl against the Giants in almost every way. No touchdown late first quarter, settle for fieldgoal. Failed fake punt leads to 7 and interception causing Brady to become gun shy for the next 2 quarters. He got completely and totally outplayed by Mark Sanchez. Poor throws, bad decisions, bad reads ... hanging on too long, and you know, if you're the league MVP, you might do some work in the offseason on at least being able to scramble a BIT when that is what's on offer. Cromartie, Scott and LT are garbage, but I give huge credit to Ryan and the Jets for being prepared and eager to meet the challenge. Belichick has now had his butt kicked in the first round two years in a row. He has done some great coaching, but at this point, he seems to have been lapped a little bit by some of the upstarts. I doubt a real pop gun offense would score 518 points in 16 games. We did put up 45 on this group last month, after all. Or did you all forget that?
