dain11279 950 Posted August 12, 2011 K I'll put my picks in here if that's cool Change my focking name though I just did. Your password is now team09. You can send me some preranks for two or three if you want, so when shotsup picks, and volty picks, ill pick for you.
Voltaire 4,899 Posted August 12, 2011 I'll be going to bed soon but no worries, I've got my pick preselected. Problem would be coming back in the next few hours since I'm not entering my second rounder at this point. Dain knows he's in but make sure he's up to speed. All the average draft location predictions were saying these were going to be the first six. This 1.07 is where things get interesting.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted August 12, 2011 LeSean McCoy In a 1 pt ppr, such as this one, thats a great pick IMO. I'm surprised I landed CJ at four. Since I always like having a stud Titan on the roster, since I watch them every week.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted August 12, 2011 I've done dozens of mocks, and this is the first draft I've seen without Vick in the first. I take that as a sign that FFToday has trained us well.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted August 12, 2011 Hey guys, when you have a pick, and another pick two or three picks later (southcarolina *cough*) go ahead and prerank three players so we can get this moving. Thanks, Titans.

southcarolina 166 Posted August 13, 2011 OK the pick is in. Again sorry guys.....i figured it would take all afternoon for you guys to get back to my #14. I guess i overestimated how much time you guys actually spend working. Anyway.....man i wanted a RB there but wasnt enthralled with the next 3 or 4 by ADP. So i'll just have the best WRs in the league, and piece together my RBs later
Voltaire 4,899 Posted August 13, 2011 I noticed that as well, I was also banking on Hillis in the 2nd When we started this draft, I was disappointed with getting stuck with the eighth pick and hoped it would be Andre Johnson. Then, last week, Hardesty reported to camp and it was clear that his knee was nowhere near healed and that he was going to continue to miss a lot of time, I knew I had my guy. In case none of you noticed, Hillis was the #2 RB in all scoring formats last year. That means he outperformed the RBs you guys were drafting 2-6. And with KiJana Hardesty out of the picture... well you can see how high up he moved on my draft sheet.

I think with Hillis coming out of nowhere last year a lot of people (including me) wanted to wait and see him do it again before they drafted him in the first. Its a bold move grabbing him at #8, especially with every WR and QB still on the board at the time.

gocolts 300 Posted August 13, 2011 Sheesh what is taking heavyset so long? gocolts 300 Posted August 13, 2011 Rollin' the dice on McFadden! You just focked yourself with that pick. Remember, he is also on the Dung Dealers in that other league. That is like the kiss of death for any player being on that squad.

Its a bold move grabbing him at #8, especially with every WR and QB still on the board at the time. 7/8 are funny picks this year. After the first six picks, there are a dozen guys who were pretty close. When Hardesty went down, I moved Hillis to the top of that list. I may have moved him to the top six. And what's nice is that I can pick up a guy from the bottom of that dozen as well on the way back. I was always expecting to be happy with my 2nd rounder since the numbers make it impossible for you guys on the back end to clear out all the talent before it gets to me again. Voltaire 4,899 Posted August 13, 2011 You sleep during FF season? It's difficult at this time of year. I went to bed uncomfortably last night hoping beyond hope that shotsup wouldn't take Peyton Hillis. Hillis was the #2 RB last year. Ever since the moment I realized Hardesty was a gimp in camp, I was all about nabbing Hillis with this #8 pick. I'm on pins and needles being on deck again. There's one player I want significantly more than the other. But then there's another dropoff coming up after shotsup goes.

WhiteWonder 2,468 Posted August 13, 2011 some terrible picks so far i have a feeling i know who voltaire will pick at 2.05 and he likely would have been a better choice at 1.08 turner in ppr? disclaimer (someone asked for more trash talk)
Voltaire 4,899 Posted August 13, 2011 some terrible picks so far i have a feeling i know who voltaire will pick at 2.05 and he likely would have been a better choice at 1.08 I'm going to be very pleased with my 2nd rounder. But I already knew that. Any of the players taken so far between 1.9 and 2.3 would have been fine choices as well. It's just the math is friendly at 2.5 and somebody good was going to fall no matter what.
