LSUtiger 9 Posted September 21, 2011 The guy was solid against a good NYJ team in week 1 and terrible last week v. SF in week 2. Now with the separated shoulder, do you start him in week 3 if it looks like he's going to play on Monday? The problem is he plays Monday night. With my only other viable option being Woodhead @ BUF (just lost Charles for season), I'll have to decide whether to roll with Woody in a good matchup or wait for Felix to potentially rip my heart out on MNF. Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 21, 2011 I'm not playing him, but I have plenty of other options at my flex. Assuming you're in a standard league, I would probably give Woodhead the start over him. Jones could get hit wrong on the first series and you're staring at a goose egg. CapsFan1 0 Posted September 21, 2011 I am worried about the Monday night start and what happens if he is a late scratch or early out from aggravating the shoulder. I may regret not starting him but I have to admit my initial confidence in Felix is beginning to fade and I am a Cowboys fan. I would love to see him have a great game or two so I can sell high. I bought him hoping for a breakout season but at this point I really like the rest of my team and just worry about getting consistent if not spectacular production from my RB2 slot. I have ap, tate, matthews, and sproles at rb (1 ppr). i may have jumped the gun a little early, but he'll either sit, get re-injured, or split most of the carries with murray/choice because of his shoulder. Isn't Foster in a contract year? If so, Houston has leverage not to play him to lower his price. IRT Felix; I had a seperated shoulder 20 years ago and it hurt moving it at all for the first week or so. Hard to believe the guy will be effective even if he can play.
