FlaHawker 24 Posted December 3, 2012 It's coming together. Russell Wilson gets better each time out. The 5 road losses have all been by single digits and today this young team put it together. Were there some bonehead plays? Sure. But I like this team and where it is headed.
Fantasy Noob 10 Posted December 3, 2012 That was a huge win, they overcame some bad calls, bad plays and finally pulled out a huge win on the road. It was torture to watch, you know how normally after your team wins your happy and satisfied and have that nice glow, I still am nauseous. Chicago had every break in that game go their way except the overtime coin flip, how we won is a testament to the team. I think this is the kind of win that helps define a team and ready them for the playoffs. Russel Wilson basically just had two 90yard drives when it counted the most to save the game. Time to give the kid his props he is our QB for the for the next couple years. Did a great interview after game with ESPN reporter, shouting out Rice's name and was all about the team, never mentioned himself once, easy to see why the media loves him. I think we will lose Sherman and Browner for probably 2 games but that is just a guess/hope, I believe they are on the hook for 4 games for positive PED test. Quality road win Matt Flynn called the coin flip in overtime, and won the toss. Flynn singlehandedly won the game for the Seahawks. The cream rises to the top. By the by, I ripped the Wilson pick because I felt he was drafted too early. Sure, he is focking midget, but that didn't mean he couldn't eventually play. I thought it was a reach, as did a majority of folks. Time will tell, but I hope that I was wrong, because my genius is not infallible. The success of this franchise is the end game. Wins over Green Bay, New England, and Chicago in the final plays of the game is something interesting to see.

phillybear 366 Posted December 3, 2012 You'd present as better case if you omitted that Green Bay game. Not even Seahawk fans think they really won that game. Seahawk fans really felt that they beat Chicago in regulation, then they inexplicably ended up winning in overtime. Yet, I am flabbergasted that there is only a "1" in the win column this week, not two. How can that be? We really thought we won that game twice. What happened? Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 4, 2012 I was surprised to see Edwards released. He was ROBBED on that beautiful, diving TD catch. Probably should have shut his mouth about the Jets on Twitter. People already know they're a focked up organization. Going to bring Charly Martin back? With Rice being a little woozy in the head this could be a problem. phillybear 366 Posted December 5, 2012 That being said, they probably need the roster space for CBs when Sherman and Browner are suspended. Yeah, that seems likely. With Baldwin coming around from his injuries and Golden Tate emerging after a miserable start to his career, I guess they think they can float without the veteran WR help. This team just hates veteran WRs (T.O. could have been a big help, especially early on). Tate is certainly interesting. Emerging from total bust and lazy and terrible doughnut shop robber to a guy that in his 3 year finally might have figure it out. Also, James Carpenter shut down for the rest of the year. Moffit has been OK in spots, but Carpenter has been a bust from performance and durability. Man, the draft from 2 years ago really looks bad with the first couple of picks. James Carpenter John Moffit KJ Wright Kris Durham Richard Sherman Mark Legree Byron Maxwell Pep Livingston Malcolm Smith Well, we got Richard Sherman out of it, anyway. KJ Wright starts, but our linebackers are invisible most games. And by the way, where did our somewhat mediocre pass rush disappear to? Sure, it was shaky to begin with. But Clemmons hasn't done sh!t for a while, and Irvin doesn't play many snaps. The past two games especially, there is no pass rush at all. We simply sit back in a zone coverage. and dare the QB to pick us apart. Got very lucky vs Cutler, not so much with Tannehill. Look, it might work vs a Lindley or any SF QB, but that is a terrible scheme for this defense to play. They have terrific one on one corners, but we sit back in zone coverage. Focking idiotic. Rob Staton over at Seahawks draft blog discusses your concern: It was very much ‘bend but not break’. Once again the front four failed to get anywhere near enough pressure and that has to be a concer. Anyone expecting a sea-change in scheme will be disappointed – Pete Carroll wants to create pressure with a four man rush to maximise the opportunity to create turnovers. Yet there’s still too much reliance on Chris Clemons in the base. If the Seahawks can’t get pressure with a four man rush, it’s going to be a long day for the secondary. We saw that at times today, although credit Jay Cutler for keeping multiple plays alive. However, I tink at home this week against a bad Cardinal O-line will enable the 4 man rush to tee off. The defense has forced a piss poor low total of turnovers this year and has zero defensive TDs. ZERO. I'd say whatever they are doing ain't working. The Bears had a terrible line last week, and the D-line couldn't get a sniff of Cutler's jock.

They watched as drug testing personnel would dump out contents of a vial, not even rinse it out, and fill it up with another person's test urine. Sample contamination which would make the test unreliable. Adderall is legal in the NFL if you have a doctor's note. Why would someone not get the note if they were to use that drug, from a logical point of view?

Fantasy Noob 10 Posted December 5, 2012 Get real your trolling our team thread because your bored or have a beef with one of our frequent posters atleast man up to it. The pass rushing disappearing against the Bears who have a horrible offensive line is concerning, I am hoping it is a scheme thing but am not enough of an X's and O's guy to figure it out. My guess is that our defense is centered around the LEO scheme with a floating extra LB acting as a pass rush threat every play and dependent upon someone along the D-line requiring a double team which is usually Red Bryant. But he was hurt and was not even expected to play so I think our D-line did not exert enough pressure. Mebane had some moments but Jones has been invisible. Jones does not seem to bring much but that is at odds with what the press is saying, am I missing something? What do you guys think about this guy? I think we sign him to a cheap contract for 3 years or let him hit the market. He is only 26 and hitting his prime but 2.5 sacks? I just don't know what to make of this guy. FlaHawker 24 Posted December 5, 2012 Roster moves: Update: Seattle promoted Deshawn Shead from its practice squad to the active roster. Shead is a defensive back from Portland State who played three seasons at cornerback before moving to safety. A decathlete his first two years at college, he is incredibly athletic and likely will play corner. Seattle alos signed Ron Parker from Carolina's practice squad. Parker formerly played for the Seahawks before being released in August. phillybear 366 Posted December 5, 2012 Isn't it strange how Seattle is in the middle of playoff push despite weekly mock outrage by the national media over the Green Bay game. And here come 3 suspensions to players in the Seattle secondary, which could really have a tremendously negative impact. At the very end of the season. The timing is just oh soooooo curious. You aren't going to get sacks out of the DT spot. And the extent of his injuries I'm not sure about. He was signed to give push up the middle to force the QB out of the pocket. I guess Alan Branch is in the same category. You just don't notice those guys as much so their contributions can be overlooked. But the last month and a half, the running numbers given up the the defense have been unacceptable, so the interior of the defensive line has to shoulder a lot of blame for that. I'd resign him and look for healthier contributions next year. I don't anticipate he'd be expensive to resign coming off this particular year. Mostly because he looked really good before he got banged up.
