southcarolina 166 Posted August 28, 2012 Hey Shotsput....i like the Greg Olson pick. Maybe a little early, but i think he is going to have a real nice season. No more Jeremy Shockey to share targets with, and the only legit WR they have is Steve Smith. Cam a year older, and more better himself. Carolina's two backup TEs are Gary Barnidge (12 career receptions in 5 years) and Ben Hartsock (29 rec in 9 years) Last year the Panthers targeted Olson and Shockey 150 times together. If Olsen can even soak up half of Shockeys production last year that puts him at a 65-800-7 type year. That makes him a borderline top 10 TE, with the potential to maybe sneak into the top 6or 7. southcarolina 166 Posted August 28, 2012 so bradys only gets loyds stats ? Im sorry....im just being snarky because of all the waiting around. I personally think Lloyd will do fine in the Patriots offense. I dont think he will be a fantasy stud though. Moss, IMO, was a huge reach in the 7th round. Plenty of other guys that will outproduce him, especially in a PPR, are still left on the board. But, then, thats the fun of FF isnt it. Doing something other people think is a bad decision, and proving them wrong. Going with your gut. Otherwise we would just let the computers make picks for us. Voltaire 5,491 Posted August 28, 2012 Last night i had no intention of drafting Justin Blackmon, but then this morning i started reading and just got this feeling.....i wanted to take Blackmon at 6.10 but was afraid Wayne and my other "safe" WR target would be gone by the time 7.03 rolled around, and didnt want to rely on Blackmon. I just think he is an enormous talent in a situation and an offense that could be a PPR goldmine. 80 rec and 800 yds gets me 10 pts a game, before he even scores the first TD Gabbert is surprising everybody this preseason and is playing like a decent QB.
