thePRO 78 Posted December 9, 2012 RG3 engineered the game tying drive, Cousins finished it off with the last 2 plays. Sucks, needed that from RG3. Hope it's not serious.
crazywhorse 6 Posted December 9, 2012 And engineers a game tying drive . What's happening ? cousins scored the td and the 2 pt conversion. rg3 is most likely done for the day
Teren 2 Posted December 9, 2012 Shannahan doesn't look as dumb for using that 3rd round pick on Cousin now. Not saying Cousins is great but able to come get a W in a must win game. Hoping RG3s knee isn't as bad It looked...
Busted by the Feds 9 Posted December 9, 2012 Both controversial picks seems not controversial now . I'd bet all those crying when they gave up 3 picks to move up to # 2 ( well, 2 picks since they swapped 1st rounders ) aren't complaining now. And those who said " another QB in the 4th round ?? ", are keeping quiet .

Serpent 51 Posted December 9, 2012 RG3 at this rate is a very questionable player. This is his second injury of the season and we still have 3 games to go and likely playoffs. Even before the injury he was doing nothing in the second half. I think he's a good player, but he has to work on consistency and he needs to pass better. This was a game in the second half where a QB needed to take over. Mr. Elite Joe Flacco wasn't willing to do so, but either was RG3. That has to change because the elite QBs in this league will show up in second halves more often than not.

Last i checked this guy is a ROOKIE. a rookie that was leading the league in completion % AND yards per completion which goes to show that hes not living off screens and dump offs. He can run and throw 5X better than Mike vick ever could. He is mature beyond his years. Up until this point, he has missed 0 games due to injury. does he have plenty of room for improvement? ofcourse. he's a focking rookie. He needs to take a few less hits but really, for a guy with his rushing ability, i have been impressed with his decision making. i have no idea what you're going on about here. Not doubting his skills at all. But if you watch him play, he gets hit HARD about 5-10 times a game. Dude has gotten up almost every single time and still KILLS it on the field. But you just don't like to see your franchise's most valuable asset since...Art Monk? to be taking hits like this every game.

tanatastic 2,062 Posted December 10, 2012 The question is can we play him safely even if he plays? I dont want to trot out an RG3 that will be tentative or gimpy if he breaks a run. I have Matt Ryan as an alternative but anytime ive started one, the other scores more.
