I guess I am a little confused by the assumption that number one draft picks score consistently during the year and don't have down games. I am going to have to re-evaluate the way I approach the first round next year after I win the Super Bowl with that first round bust Rodgers.

I completely agree that he hasn't been the most consistent round 1 pick, but at least you didn't get stuck with DMC, or ryan matthews if you bought into that hype nugget.

700 yards and 7 TDs (and some rushing stats, too) in a game and 3/4....

He came up big in lots of people's semi-finals and championship games.... :pointstosky:

A ton of stupid in this thread

I have zero confidence in Aaron Rodgers right now. He has played atrociously the past four weeks. Next week I will be sitting him for Freeman.

Another horrible game by him yesterday. :)

It's the same thing every year. The two worst parts of this board, and what compromise about 80% of drivel here is over reactions like these and the in game over reactions. It's 8 minutes ino the game, has anyone seen dez?!? I especially like the...did dez fock Jerry jones wife?!? That's real original and super funny too...

Effing morons...

Anyone else notice how people comment on how good someone is AFTER the games have been played?

Ya, nice job by ARod, after the fact. If you got to week 15 + 16 then he was great...

Problem is the 5 or 6 weeks leading up to them he probably knocked you out of the playoffs with his play...

He was outperformed by everyone and his grand mother those weeks...

Too many idiots here to bother having a rational discussion.

Can't have a rational discussion with irrational people or idiots to make it simple for the simpletons...

agreed, having a great week 15 and 16 didn't matter to a lot of owners

But those supporting him are Green Bay fans who you cannot say anything bad about anyone on their team. Heck Packer fans all last year were trying to convince us Finley owners how great he was doing all year (cause he had like 94 pts in one game to place him high in the ranking).

If you look at who got you to championship, it wasn't Arod...he may have been along for the ride to get there...then was a huge factor in winning playoffs. It's kind of like the Reggie Bush owner saying I told you so.

Look... season is over and he finished 3rd in total fantasy points just barely behind Brees and Brady....

Is it a disappointment? A little... but sh!t happens... Teams played the safeties way back more often this season after the monster Rodgers season last year and the Packers struggled to run the ball for most of the season with so many injuries to their offensive line and with their #1, #2, and then #3 RB going out with injuries. #1 and #2 for the season.... He also missed his #1 and #2 WRs for most of the season...

Boohoo.... Injuries happen... but despite that, Rodgers was the third best overall fantasy football player this year and exploded in your semi-finals and championship game match-ups... :pointstosky:

If you listened to retarded trolls like Murf and started Freeman over Rodgers in your finals because you "lost faith in Rodgers", you probably shouldn't be playing fantasy football anyways.....

Of course you ignore my post, Rodgers was like 6th qb before playoffs started so he did little to anything to help fantasy owners to make the playoffs. But in playoffs kicked butt. It was well documented how mediocre he was the majority of the season. He got almost all his points in 5 great games out of 15 starts. Kinda like Doug Martin finishing 4th in non ppr and 3rd in ppr based on a couple monster games.

but ask Doug Martin owners if it felt like they owned a top 3 or 4 rb.

You seem to have trouble looking at overall picture and only want to count last total number. Most leagues you get wins and loses each week, and Rodgers outside of a couple weeks this year before week 15 did anything to say he was more than an average starting QB in fantasy.

Hell in your world Bryce Brown kicked ass every game he started if you look at total pts scored over those 4 weeks that he started. But split up he had 2 bad and 2 good but sure that 4 week total looked great

Since we lost "Faith in Rodgers"

300 yards/3 TDs 30.9 fantasy points

342 yards/4 TDs 41.8 fantasy points

365 yards/4 TDs 40 fantasy points

Overall 2nd in total fantasy points (behind Brees) for the season

How did Freeman do? :dunno:

2,17,13
