dehaven123 31 Posted June 4, 2014 Yes, I took a QB, Nick Foles. Even though I said I was going to wait on a QB, I have Foles ranked #4 and I'm a fan of him. I don't want to chance getting stuck with a QB who I think would be fine for my team, but who I don't like. And I don't want to take other players I have rated high because I don't like the team they play for. So that's my reasoning. no waiver wire winnah QB this yr, huh? MTSkiBum 1,620 Posted June 4, 2014 Well damn. I was going to take freeman as my handcuff... 3 rounds from now. Oh well I would have taken sjax as my handcuff 5 rounds from now
dehaven123 31 Posted June 4, 2014 Sure they run more than they pass, but they still pass. i think ur missing the point im making. first, i dont hate foles and the value is fine here. however, taking into account the run/pass rate of philly and the incredibly high TD rate per pass, expect a regression in numbers. anyone who may extrapolate his season numbers to 16 gms is gonna be grossly disappointed this yr. not saying that's u, just trying to better make my original point. Frozenbeernuts 2,264 Posted June 4, 2014 I like BB team definitely. I think mine might be a bit underrated. It depends on how consistent my rbs can bee. I need 1 of my first three at the least to step up.
Frozenbeernuts 2,264 Posted June 4, 2014 Not exactly sure who will be that RB to come out of nowhere this year. Last year I added Moreno in a few leagues, but this year I think I need a little more time to figure it out. Or mayber Pierre Thomas is already on my team

BunnysBastatrds 2,439 Posted June 4, 2014 He meant big Blue's team :console: I know. No RB and good ffballers make for a bad drafting Bunny. I need to start drafting out the realm of conventional wisdom.

WhiteWonder 2,734 Posted June 4, 2014 only pick i regret of mine thus far is the last one I made with Kendall Wright. I actually have 3 or 4 other WR's I like just as much and maybe could have waited but i was at work without a list and didn't want to hold us up. Like the player just maybe could have gone another direction.
The Moz 69 Posted June 4, 2014 My Regret is Not waiting another round for a QB as I would of taken S. Jackson the last pick. I actually think he has 1 last swan song of a season. The pick's I liked the most were Morris and Rice - being able to nab em where I got them.
The Moz 69 Posted June 4, 2014 BB - Wins the draft IMO but basically by having the 2 best keepers but bear i n kind rarely if ever does winning the draft mean anything.
The Moz 69 Posted June 4, 2014 Might have reached by a round for Sammy but of all the College WR's I have seen he is the best "talent" since Megatron. Yeah Buf sucks but I still think he has a fine rookie year and ends up a nice WR3
WhiteWonder 2,734 Posted June 4, 2014 BB - Wins the draft IMO but basically by having the 2 best keepers but bear i n kind rarely if ever does winning the draft mean anything. guys like kutulu and BB won the "pre draft" in my opinion. Having 2 very good keepers and in kutulus case getting 1st pick. BB got himself just in position to get one of the bigger studs still available. i would say myself and ski "lost" in the sense that we had pretty craptastic "franchise keepers" and then drew 10th and 11th. Gepetto was in a situation that was decently fair. Defending champ with 2 great keepers drafting last. however at this point in the draft i think a lot has evened itself out. WhiteWonder 2,734 Posted June 4, 2014 one of the swing factors in my decision to not use my transitional tag was based on having pick 11. Using the transition tag would have cost 4.2. I can take my chances next year on getting an earlier pick and thus a later 4th.
