Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 Sorry, I am all out of stories too. Stuff I know we have coverd: 9/11 Ancestors Poker Pepper sprayed by trannies One armed black guy hit me with brass knuckles Used to slam dance at CBGB in the 80's Studied multiple martial arts, boxing, and ran track as a tween and teen Has 3 college degrees, and can't find work Did I ever tell the one about where I set the backyard on fire of one of the houses my Dad owned? On purpose. Trying to burn up some trash. Fire was out by the time the fire fighters got there, and I explained to them that it was my father's house and why I lit it. I instantly knew it was a bad idea and started working on putting the fire out. I was young, maybe 19 and high on pot. The fire captain pulled me aside and he had this book like a cop would have where he can write you a ticket. And the conversation went something like this. Fire Captain: Ok, kid. You have talked to your neighbor (renter from my Dad), and you are going to talk to your father and get this all cleaned up, right? It was a mistake. Me: Absolutely. Sorry you had to come out. Fire Captain: So, I'll just write down here ... "Caused by irresponsible cigarette disposal" Me: No, no. I lit it on ... Fire Captain: (shakes head) You just don't get it, do you? Me: I mean ... because I smoke. It was an accident. My father lived like 2 blocks away and I walked over and told him right away, and there was no problem. He rented a dumpster so we could really clear out that back yard a few days later. Funny story though. There's a longer version.
Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 Oh yeah, and I can sing a little bit. My brother was the singer songwriter. He was almost bigtime in the 80's. Keyboard and lead singer of a new wave band and was dating a billionaires daughter. Of course, excessive cocaine use put an end to what looked to me, as a kid 6 years younger, like the way to go. But I never liked coke, and I never liked people that loved doing coke, but it was popular in the 80's. Anyway, I learned violin as a child, but sucked, and then guitar as a tween, but sucked, and then electric bass as a teenager, and I was ok. I really learned to sing, but I'm still not really good. Better than most people though. I'm well rounded ... but I mostly focused on the visual arts.
Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 Underated: How I miss being young and stupid. AND ... It still being OK for me to bang teenage girls.

Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 First off, this isn't SUX, this is his friend Dave... I just read all of your "opinions" on musical talent, and now you mention you can sing this... I'd like you to post YOU singing Black, versus ME singing it. I want to see if you are even qualified to be having this discussion. Oh shiat, i missed this. Look, I don't sing like Eddie Vedder. You wanna challenge me to a Tom Waits, or like any old blues singer ... You wanna put some money down ... i got $700 dollas, dontchu mess with me. Cause you know I'm him. Everybody knows I'm him. I can imitate Eddie, who is an OK singer ... hit his low notes. My blues voice, like an old black man ... is where I really surprise people though. How much you wanna bet? You best just forget about it son. Or do we have to have a geek club sing off?
Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 How about this ... we practice this, and see who can sing it best, by a certain date. i will bet $100 that I will win. Any takers?
Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 I can sing this ... but that would be unfair to the rest of you that can't even attempt it.
Frozenbeernuts 2,270 Posted June 21, 2014 Is having a great singing voice a talent? I say it is. I watch the voice. There are some really talented people on there. The guy who won this last season is really unique. I am interested to see what he comes out with. Now i am not the biggest rap guy, and there is a TON of garbage out there. There is also a lot of good stuff. Great beats with good writing just in a different style. Growing up around chicago it was hard not to get into the rap scene at least a little. Frozenbeernuts 2,270 Posted June 21, 2014 Question to old fockers who rag on rap, is the music you would play at a party really better than dance type music? Nothing got ladies more hot and horny better than a tune they could grind their woman parts to, especially when it was on my man parts. Dancing to 80s music is just so awkward. Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 I have not watched one second of that show. I'm too critical of most young people that try and sing though. Ya know, nobody is blowing it outta the water anymore. When I heard Mariah Carey hit those high notes back in the day ... i knew right away I wanted to have the sex with her. Even if she was some trashy Staten Island type ... turned me on. Big time. Talent ... turns me on. Not a fan of her music at all ... but as Luke once said to Han, "She's rich." And she's pretty hot. I totally would.

Dave giants fan is a noted liar so when he says he can sing it.....he really means he can stick his finger up his cats asss and make it sound nothing like the song is supposed to......but he WILL try to convince you otherwise. Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 Was watching My Cousin Vinny the other day ... Marissa Tomei. She, supposedly likes balding, chubby, quirky guys so ... Marissa ...if you find this post via google search ... Will you marry me? I don't care if you can't sing, you are every kind of sexy that I like.

Ok. So, are you in on the challenge? How about we make the song God Bless America. Don't need music to record it. Just the basics. i'm in for $100 that I will win. We'll put it to a geek vote. Why does a singer have to go through the traditional route of becoming discovered to be legit? Thats like saying a basketball player cant be good if they were discovered outside of the US, even if you have video evidence of that player playing quality basketball. Frozenbeernuts 2,270 Posted June 21, 2014 If they were really good, they would not have to compete on some crap ass show. Dude really? There are tons of stories of bands or artists toiling around for a while until they are discovered. Its also why a lot of the winners are young, because their first route was to try and win one of those shows. They also may not be great song writers, or just dont have the experience to have developed into one. I have heard the judges on the show sing right along with the contestents. Some of them are better than the judge. Plus you havent even seen the show before, so again, you really have no clue what youre talking about and are just making shlt up. Maybe if you didnt assume so much you would have more success in life.
Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 Well, you know what happens when you assume. And, if we got into a singing contest you would likely quickly concede. I have a drama and musical background as well, I once played Tom Sawyer in a play as a child and still remember some of my lines. "Huckelberry Fin, Huckleberry Fin ... hungry looking youngster tall and thin. There's no vacant space, on his freckled face..." etc. I was actually SAG eligible at like 10 years old. Long story .... but SAG let me down, let us down when they filmed Can't But Me Love at my high school, while I went there. Long story. Revenge of The Nerds, also filmed in Tucson. That was a union shoot though. I was too young for that one. I ASSUMED the Union was telling me was my best decision. Demanding working for scale, etc. But in fact, that was absolutely the worst advice. They wanted me to be in the movie, I demanded scale, they said no ... end of story. I'm not in the movie. Frozenbeernuts 2,270 Posted June 21, 2014 You know what happens, when you assume. Im not assuming anything. No matter how much success you have in life you can always have more. I was merely proposing that you could accomplish more by not assuming. Now i used what you have told about yourself as a basis for how much success you have had, but in the end it was only a suggestion. Not a definitive assumption. Giants Fan 85 Posted June 21, 2014 Thanks ... i think. Don't assume, a white boy like me can't sing this: Because it's a white boy to begin with.
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted June 21, 2014 Pretty much all modern music stars. The women have talent, but for pron, not music.
Frozenbeernuts 2,270 Posted June 21, 2014 There are a lot of hard rock bands that are incorporating women more lately. I like the dynamic it brings to the music. Chicks who sing hard rock are so hot.
mobb_deep 920 Posted June 22, 2014 Is only KISS had enough talent to be crappy at poker. They'd be living the good life, at home with their mom. Instead of living in giant houses with freezers full of hot pockets.
