NorthernVike 2,080 Posted August 7, 2014 http://www.foxsports.com/buzzer/story/scott-mitchell-the-biggest-loser-080614 The former NFL QB who played for the Dolphins, Lions, Ravens and Bengals from 1991-2001? He's now going to be a contestant on NBC's "The Biggest Loser," where overweight people compete to lose the most weight. Mitchell weighs in at 366 pounds, according to the show's website. NorthernVike 2,080 Posted August 7, 2014 I did have him the one year he threw like 30 TDs or something. Mitchell to Herman Moore and Johnnie Morton I think I had him that year also. Herman Moore always seemed to find his way to my team. Ahhhh the good old days.
Voltaire 4,567 Posted August 7, 2014 I hate him so much. Scott Mitchell was the anti-Elway. Nobody could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like Scott Mitchell. In the long history of sucky Lions QBs, this guy stands out as our worst. Really the only thing holding back those Barry Sanders led Lions teams of the mid-late 90s was the disaster play we got out of QB in Scott Mitchell. He had all the tools any QB could ever want. Fock him. And yeah, he was a far better fantasy QB than real life one. If you needed an opposing QB to fumble a kneeldown or throw back-to-back pick sixes to tie/lose the game, this was your man. It was amazing watching the creative and mind-blowing ways this guy would find to lose, which may actually make for good reality programming. I agree completely with Lomas Brown's take on the matter. Frank M 181 Posted August 7, 2014 Wow. I wouldn't be surprised if a D or O lineman porked up like that after his career, but you don't normally see a QB become a crapper busting fattie.

cbfalcon 824 Posted August 7, 2014 After looking at the current photo of him, he should also consider competing on one of those weight loss shows. :rimshot:
