Drizzay 722 Posted October 2, 2014 Anyone else thinking of sitting certain players tonight because of the weather? Not only is it supposed to rain all night, but there is a chance of high winds. I can see GB trying to run the ball 40+ times tonight if the weather is worse than previous thought. Because of that, I am considering sitting Cobb for Harvin. murf74 461 Posted October 2, 2014 Where you hear the high winds? I looked at whether and wind is mild if not non existant?

Drizzay 722 Posted October 2, 2014 Someone on location on the radio said the winds might be swirling tonight with strong gusts at times. Who knows.

ffexpert 4 Posted October 2, 2014 rain might be that last straw for Cordarelle Patterson, might bench him. Would be helpful if my best other options weren't Sanu, Justin Hunter, and Denard Robinson (can play him as WR).
stonewall 647 Posted October 2, 2014 Starks will see work tonight. Forecast: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=44.51915787600046&lon=-88.01982610899967&site=all&smap=1#.VC2DiGddXAl

SLM827 4 Posted October 2, 2014 I love the under as well but to play Devils advocate - if it's wet and slippery than players can break long runs. I'm expecting a 27-6 type game. The packers absolutely suck against the run but are stout against the pass so how does this factor? Vikings have 3 good rbs (I'm counting Patterson) U guys are making me consider spot starting Starks

ffb 1 Posted October 2, 2014 How does the rain affect special teams? Is this good for returners and bad for kickers and tacklers?
SLM827 4 Posted October 2, 2014 I think snow does not affect games ala shady vs lions and Brady/moss vs tenn in 08/09? Rain and wind is a different beast. It def helps the offense and should be a lot of running. Depends how windy too -
ffb 1 Posted October 2, 2014 Will it help kick returners like Patterson by possibly allowing less touch backs, and perhaps making him slippery and harder to tackle?

tanatastic 2,062 Posted October 2, 2014 Now roto saying signs pointing to teddy starting. annoying, just sit him on the short week, its not worth risking your prized rookie. update: They activated some practice squad qb so that is a sign Teddy wont play. H-man 12 Posted October 2, 2014 rain might be that last straw for Cordarelle Patterson, might bench him. Would be helpful if my best other options weren't Sanu, Justin Hunter, and Denard Robinson (can play him as WR). Patterson got outsnapped by Jennings last week. Guy's not #1 WR on his team.
