Can Colin Kaepernick outscore Russell Wilson in ffpts this year?

Recommended Posts

I love Wilson, one of my favorite QB's but I have Kap.

Going into the season I figured Kap had more weapons, strong D, and can do some running as well.

What gives? Opinions...

Kaep has not impressed me at all since his brief rookie flashes.

I was down to the 2 of them picking QB late and went Kaep in a pair of leagues. He's been good but not great. I think there are a few excellent games to come for him, but he needs Crabtree and Davis both healthy to make it happen. I prefer Wilson for the rest of the year just because he's getting a few more opportunities to freelance than I expected he would. I have Wilson 9th ROS and Kaep 11th.

Wilson and I'm a niner homer. Kaep really is a tier below in fantasy, maybe two tiers below in reality. Personally don't think he is very good.

is this a real question?

Wilson over Rodgers is a debate worth having

Roethlisberger vs Kaepernick is a discussion

It was a "fantasy" question. Did not see any reason why not to ask it.

Oh, btw..Russell Wilson trails QB's like Cutler, Eli, and yes Kapaernick in fantasy points this year. Wilson coming in at 13th.

Fantasy and reality as you can see are two different subjects.

Not to throw rain on your parade, but Wilson and Peyton are the only 2 QBs in the top 13 who have had their bye weeks. That totally scews the stats. If u gave Wilson lets say 20 more pts conservatively to make up for the one game difference he'd be top 5 and well ahead of Rodgers.

- very simple here:

Wilson is a PLAYER

Kaep is a PLAYA

real life/fantasy ... Wilson by far.

Yikes...you're right. How did I miss that. Thanks Redzone.

Maybe I'll try to get Austin Davis or some other worthy QB.

6 pt td league

1) Luck 31

2) Manning 29.8

3) Wilson 27.4

....

7) Rodgers 24.0

....

13) Kaepernick 19.4

so basically what we have is a 3 pt advantage over Rodgers, and an 8 pt over Kaepernick

I dont care about last year either, I am taking Rivers over Brees right now as well

Wilson is about the surest thing you have in the game of 20+pts regularly, while Kap is a backup/bye type replacement

Kap would be crucified for playing the way Wilson did at home today.

Dallas defense absolutely dominated the Seattle offense.
