Antiramie 50 Posted November 7, 2014 I think that we all need to accept that for the first time in a long time, the Browns are series. If you meant "serious"...no, they're not. They might be in playoff contention now, but aside from beating the Saints and Steelers before their offenses got going, their other wins have come against some of the worst teams in football...and 3 of them were close. They've also lost to the Jags. Their remaining schedule is super weak too. They are the 2013 Chiefs. They would get waxed by the Pats, Broncos, and Colts. And with how the Steelers have been playing lately, probably them too. Not trying to take away from their success so far, but I don't see this team going far if they make the playoffs. Cloaca du jour 2,150 Posted November 7, 2014 Dalton.... 2 passer rating lol a focking two. Hahahahahahahahahha...gingers
thePRO 78 Posted November 7, 2014 Cleveland can keep up, but it all depends on how Hoyer plays. The defense is there. They have 3 serviceable running backs who look good and stay fresh. They'll get Gordon back. If Hoyer plays well, so does the team.
Djgb13 2,339 Posted November 7, 2014 Fock you Jeremy hill and fock u bengals D. 4 focking points between both of you. Bengals suck and that's all there is to it. Aj green sucks and so does dalton. Done with that entire team

The defense has looked good, but how well will it fare when it's not facing Tennessee, Oakland, TB, Cincy, and Jax? They have 3 serviceable runnings backs that just combined for 3.3 yds/carry against the league's 3rd worst run defense. Cleveland's run-blocking is a shell of its pre-Mack-injury self. kilroy69 1,251 Posted November 7, 2014 That was the most inept performance by a qb I have ever seen.
tigeru 65 Posted November 7, 2014 I dropped Cleveland 4 minutes before kickoff for whoever which could be reserved for another thread if it turns out poorly.
tigeru 65 Posted November 7, 2014 Glad opponent flexed Sanu. I've flexed Crabtree so I hope I get more than the 2 he got.
PATSSOX 22 Posted November 7, 2014 -3 from Dalton!! Piece of sh!t glad I'm 12-6 in that league cause I'm going 0-2. Only Fridy and my team has no hope to win.
BiPolarBear 485 Posted November 7, 2014 Starting Jeremy Hill and Sanu on FanDuel netted a total of 7.6 points.

New England barely beat the Jets and the Raiders. Your points is? Browns have 6 wins for the first time in SEVEN years. Yes they are serious and improving. Right now they are winning without Mack, Gordon, Cameron and Hawkins. Hoyer is passing to Miles Austin, backup tight ends and a 5'8" rookie free agent receiver. Things are only going to get better. Are they a Super Bowl contender? Not yet but they are working in the right direction for the first time in more than a decade.

Cloaca du jour 2,150 Posted November 7, 2014 Just out of curiosity, did anyone see the stiff arm by Tate that he got called for a facemask? Is this a new rule.
tigeru 65 Posted November 7, 2014 He jerked the face mask as opposed to keeping the arm stiff as you suggested

Basically kudos to the Browns for their success so far. They are an improving team that has a bright future, but right now they are not close to being Super Bowl contenders. They're not going to get Mack back this year, so unless their run game drastically improves during the 2nd half of the season, I don't see them going far...even with the help of Gordon in a few weeks. Serious=super Bowl contenders only? Getting Gordon back helps the running game. No more 8 men in the box.
murf74 461 Posted November 7, 2014 How bad was the Bengals' offense? Among other things, Cleveland averaged 3.3 YPC on 52 attempts and controlled the game. Almost impossible. Nice find
