Djgb13 2,338 Posted March 16, 2015 If tebow has improved himself then I don't see why he doesn't get a chance. If not then he needs to kick rocks and do something else or pick a different position if he wants to play in the NFL
Vern357 15 Posted March 17, 2015 All joking aside, everytime I see a team run the read option all I remember are how everyone said it could never work in the NFL......
Voltaire 4,567 Posted March 17, 2015 Tebow isn't so bad that he should be out of the league. I think Cleveland should get him so he can be bestest buddies and road game roommates with Johnny Manziel. Ideally, they could help each other with their personality quirk problems.
petekrum 20 Posted March 17, 2015 All joking aside, everytime I see a team run the read option all I remember are how everyone said it could never work in the NFL...... It doesn't work, because it gets your QB killed. It's a gimmick that can be used as a surprise a few times a game.
tanatastic 2,061 Posted March 17, 2015 I can think of at least 3 starting qbs id rather start tebow over and there has to be around 10-15 backup qbs id roster Tebow over. Considering jersey sales and exposure, he would prob be the best 3rd qb in the league on any team. Lets not even consider the fact that he led a team to a winning season and a playoff win, wich guys like Hoyer, Sam Bradford etc couldnt dream of doing. Win win.
Cruzer 1,992 Posted March 17, 2015 In all seriousness - I don't see how Tebow could be any worse than what we have in Weeden. He flat out sux - have no faith in him at all as our backup.

These guys jobs depend on finding players to help their teams win. If they think there is even a chance a guy can help them win, then that guy is in the league. It's why Leonard Little stayed in the league despite killing people. It's why Rice and the guy from Carolina will be back in the league this year. Tebow's not in the league because teams don't think he can help them win. If you believe otherwise you really don't know football.

Flyfreak 84 Posted March 17, 2015 NBC Washington's Dianna Marie Russini reports there's an "80 percent chance" the Eagles will sign free agent Tim Tebow if they can trade Matt Barkley. ESPN's Chris Mortensen has reported the Eagles are trying to trade Barkley for a "late" pick, something Russini confirms. If football czar Chip Kelly has serious eyes for Tebow, it's unclear why he wouldn't just release Barkley and his $592,500 salary. He must genuinely believe there's a market for Barkley's services. We find it rather hard to believe. There will undoubtedly be more Tebow updates as the week rolls on. Djgb13 2,338 Posted March 18, 2015 I hope tebow does get a second chance at it. It really is pathetic people gave him grief just cause he's a Christian. That being said I know tebow took a step back after his days in Denver. Lost speed and arm strength seemed to get worse. I don't blame Denver at all for getting Peyton when they had the chance. Marshall 98 Posted March 18, 2015 I hope tebow does get a second chance at it. It really is pathetic people gave him grief just cause he's a Christian. That being said I know tebow took a step back after his days in Denver. Lost speed and arm strength seemed to get worse. I don't blame Denver at all for getting Peyton when they had the chance. I haven't noticed Tebow getting griefed for his Christianity. What rankles me (and, I suspect, many others) about him is his dogged insistence that he is some sort of elite quarterback - when he truly is not. Seriously, not. And yet, he demands that teams and staff bend over backwards to accommodate his delusion. I dunno. He impresses me as more of a fame-seeking self-absorbed git, than as a religious dude. Voltaire 4,567 Posted March 18, 2015 He impresses me as more of a fame-seeking self-absorbed git I realize this is a tangent, and I dont mean to hijack the thread, but I need your help. Now, I just learned this word for the first time recently and your use of it doesn't register in my head. It seems Tebow is totally 180 degrees opposite of the first git I came across: this kid causing tens of $dollar$ worth of damage in a dollar store. What am I missing?
