Way back there was a board that pre-dated FFT...and maybe in between there was a request for a fee for a season. I remember kicking in $10 or $20. Whatever the request was. May have been $12.

 

I remember a poster who got his balls busted for maybe misspelling his name. May have wanted to spell "Hugh" and typed "Huge". Or vice versa.

You know redtodd and I used to just see who could antagonize the most. Both franchises have been very successful (although one through hard work; the other through cheating ) .... there was always some mutual respect there.

Swamp was a real piece of.......something. He did ALWAYS disappear with the lions hope yearly. I got cross ways with the other Packer fans with my total hatred for the way the Packer GM did Brett. I'm here to say......he knew what he was doing. Bret could still sling it, and the two wins vs. the Pack that year Bret was with the Vikings was still fun to watch, but Ted knew what was going on and who he had waiting to take over.

Was just thinking about how we never have those "Chicago 31 - Packers/Lions 3" threads anymore. There used to be a lot of good banter between us Norris rivals back then.
