AFC Divisional - Steelers at Broncos Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Line: DEN -7.5

Total: 39

Last Meeting: Week 15 - PIT 34, DEN 27

Key Injuries: Ben Roethisberger (shoulder) is questionable and likely to play but how effective he'll be is a serious question mark. Antonio Brown and DeAngelo Williams are out.

Judging by the line, Vegas doesn't think the Steelers are going to be able to score. Even thought the Steelers have been tough against the run, I kind of like the Denver running game as fantasy options this week.

As someone who currently has torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder I'll be the first one to say Ben won't be able to throw deep very many times. His range will already be limited but he might be able to get off a couple of deep balls. Towards the end of the game you will really see him struggling as that injury becomes worse the more he uses it. Look for a short passing game with tons of runs. Without Brown, I see the this as the Broncos game to lose

I like the Steelers with the points , now that Brown is out not to sure they can pull this game out but still did a little money line play just for the heck of it .

So Ben and Manning both will have weak arms now and pass short?

Peyton maybe with a little zip on his passes. Long day for Pittsburgh if so. Another dropped pass by Stone Hands Demaryius Thomas, who's been killing them with his proficiency at such all season.

Big PI non-call there in the end zone on Talib. Didn't even turn around and had both hands on him, including the left hand up in his face. Butchers call.

Saw that PI called yesterday exactly same type play. It's Talib so he gets a pass

He never even turned around, could've called that with Braille. Steelers need to take that 3 pts next time.

Wow, that's a great diagnosis. Do you have any sort of medical training? How did you tear them, old college baseball injury?

Did you hurt your arm like Ben did? Are all tears the same?

No idea if all tears are the same but no I didn't hurt it playing football

Tomlin sure does like to keep it real doesn't he? Not sure how he tiptoes that fine line of being a head coach and being one of the guys.

I've always wondered that. Doesn't seem like there are any respect/locker room issues there but he sure seems like a "player's coach".

Can't argue with the results, though.

Winning helps. Winning stops and I bet it would become an issue.

IMO he tries too hard to get them to like him. Who gives a crap if they like you. It's not about making chums.
