Making a murderer

Recommended Posts

I am rewatching this, and I haven't read this thread...

But now in 2022...what's your take? Did he kill Teresa?

In watching it now, I am finding the timeline of events from his first arrest (and the cops and everyone focking up) to this girl being murdered is kind of interesting. And who gets out after 10 plus years, kills someone knowing that they'd go back?

I think it was the kid's brother.  The cops were every dirty in this case.

This is kind of what I think too. Weird that the DNA was found in interesting places (like her car).

Not sure about your accusations?

Of course I'm not sure.  I'm not an investigator and I haven't been able to see all of the evidence or be in the courtroom.  This is my opinion based on what I know.  What the hell is your deal?

Have any of you watched Convicting a Murderer yet?  There's still so much about this case that hasn't been shown us.

I wonder if they will all be put on YouTube eventually.  The first episode was well done.

With the popularity of these types of documentaries and true crime shows, do you think there might be an increase in murderers/serial killers?

Maybe, but you have to think about how much more difficult it is today to carry out such crimes. Being a serial killer in the 80s or before would have been relatively easy compared to today with DNA and surveillance technology

I don't care what he or his family did in their lives prior to this. There are plenty of dirtbag families in America that constantly do dumb sh1t. Doesn't make them murderers.

2 things about this that make me positive he is innocent.

36 million lawsuit and the interrogation of a retarded kid.

I know a lot of people mention the lawsuit but do the police actually care?  Their insurance is most likely paying it.  The whole thing is very weird and it's hard to know for sure what actually happened.  It wouldn't surprise me if he did it.

I'll have to check out the YouTube  series. I hope they put out all of them.

No.

I don't think it will increase, but I don't think it will stop. Just in my opinion, there are too many advancements in DNA, but also technology in general. Just going to the store or whatever, you are caught on camera like 20 times a day or some weird number like that.

Criminals are also dumb, IMO. You leave behind DNA or make stupid decisions when you murder or whatever. Whether it's hair, skin, or just blood evidence that you didn't think you left behind or took with you.

I've been listening to more details of the case on YouTube.  When you hear all of the stuff that got left out of the original series you start to see that the Avery's are most likely guilty.  If some how Steven Avery didn't do it, he should be in jail for molesting underage family members.

Cops did some shady stuff but ultimately he did commit the murder. The end. Can we stop chasing this ghost now?

I agree. Thought he was cool when he pitched for the Braves, but I don’t like him now

I am on a reddit/subreddit that talks about it a lot too. And they are even saying this NEW show is still hiding stuff.

Too bad that you can't trust anything anymore.
