Hardcore troubadour 15,446 Posted April 19, 2016 Well if your claim that 'he came through just fine' means he didn't get Eli killed then yeah, I'm smoking what you're rolling. And I respect your support of your team. But #9 overall is a huge pick for a team. That player should step in and be dominant, or at least contribute significantly, from day one. What's got to hurt even more is the possible fact that the Giants would've taken Lael Collins at #9 if that girlfriend stuff didn't break. Ouch. Well, here's what the experts at Pro Football Focus had to say: 9. Ereck Flowers, OT, New York Giants 2014 PFF College grade: +22.4 (10th-highest OT in class) 2015 PFF NFL grade: -44.1 (76th-highest OT in NFL) Flowers wasnt horrendous in run-blocking as a rookie, though he didnt play well, either, grading at -4.0. He was completely overwhelmed as a pass-blocker, though, allowing five sacks, 17 hits, and 47 hurries in 2015. (Sorry to hijack the thread mods, just thought it pertinent.) He wasn't supposed to be the starting left tackle. Beatty got hurt before the season started. And it's also why they should draft Stanley. Let them fight it out. And the Giants had no problems scoring.

I'm trying to sell him to Raider fans at 14 but they are still gun shy due to Hayden. Just want your take.

Just want your take. I haven't seen much tape on this kid, but he seemingly has measurables. 6 foot and a 4.37 40. A lot of scouting reports I've read on him state that he can fare well in both press coverage and zone schemes. There are questions on his tackling and I've seen he needs more fluidity in his hips. I think it'd be a slight reach to me with some of the talent still on the board. With Shaq still on the board, I think the Bears take him. 1.11 - Shaq Lawson

BobSanders_33 127 Posted April 24, 2016 More reports on Jack's knee today: MMQB's Albert Breer reports UCLA LB Myles Jack is dealing with a "chondral defect" in his troublesome right knee. It's a fancy term for articular cartilage damage, resulting from Jack's college PCL injuries. It's also a defect that can eventually lead to microfracture surgery. According to Breer, the problems Jack will face from the injury are "up for debate," and probably viewed differently amongst NFL teams. Breer reports some teams believe Jack "can play with it," but it may affect his "career length." Widely considered this year's premier college prospect, Jack's draft position will be one of Thursday's great mysteries. I'm seeing a pretty big fall for Jack. Ray_T 753 Posted April 28, 2016 Taylor Decker 1.15 without a doubt, this is the best choice at this point for the Titans it fills a big need. I'll vote for Decker as well.
