Just as an aside, we woke up this morning in a couple of my Dynasty leagues with three owners who had all pulled up stakes and left in both of them. I am not the commish in either of these, just an owner trying to help out. So if anyone is interested in taking over an orphan let me know. They are both free leagues on fleaflicker. Unfortunately the rookie draft has already occurred for both of these leagues.

Nah it's ok. I messed up during the draft because I didn't noticed we couldn't put a RB in the "flex" spot. Only WR or TE and I didn't draft accordingly. This year will be different

So I noticed that this year there are 19 roster slots with ten bench slots... Last year there were 18 roster slots with nine bench slots...

The draft is set to start at 5 am august 23. I started it early in case one of the first few picks needed to be made before work or something. In the beginning i wont turn on the timer. Last year we went through the entire draft without me turning it on. If you are going to be away from your computer for an extended period and your draft pick is up soon, please let us know. or use the pre draft list feature. Nothing sucks worse than being on deck and the owner who is up is at the lake drunk and sunburned and not thinking about the draft at all. Just let us know. If a single owner abuses the no clock, i will at my discretion put that owner only on the clock. If that owner abuses the clock again, i will put him on autodraft. The only way i'll put the entire league on the clock is if the entire draft bogs down and it seems like theres a chance we wont be done by kickoff of the first game. But seriously i dont foresee any issues. We did it last year without much fuss, im expecting this year will go just as smooth.

im opening the draft a few days early, per the request of the guy with the number 1 pick. i wont turn the timer on, and picking early will be purely voluntary. as far as i am concerned the draft doesnt officially start until tuesday morning. If herbivore makes his pick sun morning and posty wants to wait until tuesday to make his pick, he wont get any grief from me.
