Maulers1973 117 Posted December 28, 2016 Should I even bother? There will be huge performances by 3rd string guys I've never heard of, and a few studs will go off, but it won't be the ones I chose??? lol Is there any hope of cashing in a tourney this weekend? I'm having my doubts, but was hoping for one last big splash.
Frozenbeernuts 1,952 Posted December 28, 2016 There is always a chance, just a small one. Throw some rosters together with scrubs. I am banking on some studs who are still in the hunt for a win.

Marshall 98 Posted December 29, 2016 OTTOMH QB - Stafford? RB - Gilliislee, J Rodgers, Ingram.. WR - S, Smith. E Rogers, LaFell? TE - Ebron? are some guys who should be playing like it matters. Particularly Smitty, who has heavily implied that he plans on retiring after Week 17's game - making it his last. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18364241/baltimore-ravens-wide-receiver-steve-smith-sr-says-probably-retiring

weepaws 3,067 Posted December 30, 2016 Actually think that Toussaint might see more work then D Williams. I would think they know what they have in D will and will save him for the playoffs , in case Bell gets hurt.

Loaded Box 5 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm actually glad for DFS on weeks like this since our normal leagues are over and I can still choose guys with meaningful games! We did a podcast on Tuesday of this week where we each did an entire FanDuel roster and gave our analysis/reason for the picks. Feel free to take a listen and hopefully you agree with me on a guy or two for your lineup! Here's the link in case you want to check it out: http://loadedbox.libsyn.com/episode-32-daily-fantasy-sports-lineups-week-16-thoughts

Frozenbeernuts 1,952 Posted December 30, 2016 yea because D. Williams has gotten so much work and needs a rest Why work the 33 year old back a lot in a meaningless game?
weepaws 3,067 Posted December 30, 2016 No because they might need D Williams and they know he can get the job done if Bell was to get hurt. Hes diffently more important to the Steelers in the playoffs then Toussaint. I'm sure D Williams will get some work , but over all Toussaint will get the majority of the load. Happy New Year. And thanks for the reply.

SpenceToons 70 Posted January 2, 2017 After all the effort one has put into a season of league play, you're still left with an asset of impressions, leans, and a state of being caught up to speed with a lot of the nuances of the NFL landscape. It's a perishable asset but one can leverage it by continuing participation in DFS through the playoffs.
