Kent 228 Posted August 9, 2017 Riddick. I will not have a Jet on my roster this year.
polecatt 403 Posted August 9, 2017 I like Riddick in PPR and he has a decent QB
Maulers1973 117 Posted August 9, 2017 I love me some Powell. First, he's going to be the main guy whether Forte is healthy or not. Second, the Jets will be terrible so they'll be playing catch up in most games and their QB's all stink, thus a lot of dump down throws to the backs or to Powell. He probably won't score many TD's so I wouldn't love him as much in a standard league. Only downside is that I think his ADP is going to start creeping up. Riddick, might be the better late round value.

RaiderHaters Revenge 3,594 Posted August 9, 2017 Powell ez Abdullah is reportedly looking impressive, Zenner played well down the stretch Forte is 52 years old, Jets might be (ok will be the worst team in football) and will be trailing every game, their defense sucks, they have no WR's, Bilal is my PPR top 10 prediction another thing is Powell is going 6 and Riddick 7, why not both? zero RB strategy mocks have landed me Mixon (4th), Monty (5th), Powell, Riddick in one I just did last night at WR I went Jordy, M.Thomas, D.Thomas with my first 3 picks

Helps Riddick's ADP while Abdullah may make it through a half of the first game before being crippled.

He's only going one round after Powell which seems about right according to every projection I've seen, including my own. With all injuries the Jets have had I only see Powell getting more touches. BufordT 371 Posted August 10, 2017 I'll break it down for you fellas/gals. If Theo stays healthy he is easily the one to take over B Powell. B Powell will not win you a championship, healthy or not. Theo if....if....only if he stays healthy (or at least be healthy and 100% weeks 12-16) can be the difference in championship glory this year.

How about you go back and look at the end of 2016 and then come back with an education.

Do you actually have projections based on something or is it just pure opinion? As of last week I have Powell about 20 points ahead of Riddick in .5 PPR but I think I'll be bumping Powell up a tad after the Enunwa news. What I like more about Powell is that he gets more rushing opportunities plus plenty of receptions. On top of that his only competition is Forte who can't handle the load anymore. I know that the Jets are most likely going to be historically bad this year but they do seem to produce a decent fantasy scoring RB each year. Riddick is strictly reliant on receptions and receiving yards along with having Abdullah and Zenner. I have Riddick slightly behind Powell right now and that's with 70 receptions. Oh it's pure opinion. No doubt. Forte is still the starter and Powell is the backup. I don't think that's going to change. Powell's most productive games came against Buffalo late (a team that tanked it in week 17), San Fran (who yielded the most pts to RB's in 2016), the Rams (nuff said) and the Browns (yielded the 2nd most pts to RB's). He's a nice backup who will be game planned a little bit more this year. He's just not someone I'll be drafting. For the purposes of this thread and question posed in the OP, imho it's Riddick easily.....again....if he stays healthy. He averaged 2pts/gm more than BP last year. Your looking 12-18 touches per game with 5+ receptions on an average week. PPR Riddick hands down.
