Back in the late 80's, early 90's - Ticketmaster had a machine set up inside 7/11's and such. It looked and worked just like a regular ATM - that's how and where we bought our tickets... Most back then were around $15-25.

Some artists are doing what they can for their fans. If you're a member of the TP & the heartbreakers fan club you get early access to tix, and they only sell them as will call. You have to go to the will call booth at the venue and show I.D. to get your tix. Is it perfect? No, and the prices are still pretty high plus you have to shell out for the fan club membership, but at least he's trying.
