wiffleball 4,680 Posted October 4, 2017 Is getting pretty roundly slagged for his behavior and comments. Just a few for reference: "I had a lovely time here" "You're busting our budget!" " Katrina - a REAL catastrophe...." Not to mention, he did another one of those forced "praise me" circle jerks. - "Uh, governor, don't you have something to tell me?" Then, surprisingly: - "All I'm hearing is praise and thanks - it's unbelievable!" Yeah, it kind of is - maybe you're not listening. I dont' know what's wrong with this guy - Show up, look sad, promise that you understand and wont' forget them, comfort a few people, move on. Instead, he grabs paper towels (yes, for a focking Hurricane) and starts throwing them to the crowd smiling "I'm like a rockstar here!" - Then cuts out an hour early because - "bored now" I'm sure. Took some serious stupidity to keep harping on how PR hadn't been through a REAL catastrophe - because they didn't have enough dead people presumably. And, SPEAKING of stupid - He finally took a minute to stop talking about himself to praise the Coast Guard gathered here today - Except they were the AIR FORCE. Good Lord. "We were treated so nice!" Uh yeah, Mr. POTUS, it's really NOT about how YOU were treated. They're not here to kiss your ring you insecure child. And, just like he did in Texas, he ends his small talk with victims by saying "Have a Good Time!" - Uh,you DO realize you're not working the floor at one of your bankrupt casinos, right? Have a Good Time? Jeesus. I mean, this guy takes narcissism, tone-deafness, insecurity and lack of basic human empathy to Olympic levels.

I mean, it's one thing to have to Teach the President How to be President. I get that. see: Carter, Bush Jr. But GD, this guy doesn't even know how to be a normal human being. Who shows up at a catastrophe looking for praise and adulation? - Trump

MDC 5,968 Posted October 4, 2017 Remember when people thought GW Bush was a bad President? My God, I'd give anything to have him back at this point. He was so much worse than Trump. I mean, he was vastly superior as an actual human being, because Trump is a piece of sh1t. But the Iraq War alone makes him the worst president of my lifetime and it's not even close. Course many of the people defending Trump today at FFT were here defending W to the hilt 10 years so it's easy to draw that comparison.

Jesus Chrysler 29 Posted October 4, 2017 I would like to believe that even Trump isn't dumb enough to think that invading North Korea would be a good idea. Trump is 100% ego-driven. He doesn't care about South Korea or Japan or the American servicemen over there. He's been called out by 'Rocket Man'. It is personal to him. If he can have our military destroy North Korea, even if 5 million of our allies lose their lives in the process, he will consider himself some kind of war hero. So yes, I can surely see him declaring war on North Korea at some point.
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted October 4, 2017 I would like to believe that even Trump isn't dumb enough to think that invading North Korea would be a good idea. Trump will say and do anything that he thinks is necessary to win in his mind. Not a win for the country. A Win for himself personally. He has very little connection to reality. The psychology of the guy is obvious. A bunch of dead soldiers will mean nothing to him. To guys like that, soldiers exist for that purpose.

I could definitely see him celebrating a win over North Korea and talking about how he had the balls to do what Obama didn't, while ignoring the fact that he just killed five million allies. That wouldn't bother him in the least.

Problem is trump can order Middle strikes and whatnot all on his own. He can start the war long before congress has sh!t to say about it. Its why electing him was a hideously dangerous move. IMMensaMind 460 Posted October 5, 2017 ...and which one are you now, precious? Freaking out over a T shirt whilst backing a guy who's entire platform fits on a hat. Wow. You act just like the cheating husband who constantly checks his wife's phone. Stop with the aliases schtick: it's asinine. Is this some more of that 'slap-fighting' your side is complaining about, but never seems to complain about doing themselves? And I find it additionally funny that you think you have grounds to complain that Trump's platform 'fits on a hat' while complaining about posts which go into any detail.
