He's focking 6, like he will sit there and watch without us screaming at him to pay attention. Yeah that will work... I know that the administrations mean well, but stuff like this is pretty much impossible...

After dealing with this for just one month, I don't know how teachers of kids this age can cope. They must all be raging alcoholics. If I had to deal with 25 of these little fockers every day for 6 months

That is why I said earlier in here that I think teachers should get appreciated more dealing with what they have to deal with... I sure as hell know that I could never be a teacher because the kids would drive me batshit crazy... Good luck to you and your baby mama during this time... Hopefully you will get through it without killing anyone or drinking two cases a day...

We have such a focked up weird relationship, but it works for all 3 of us, incredibly well
DonS 3,292 Posted April 22, 2020 What has been your school district's policy regarding grades during all this? Doing a pass/fail sounds reasonable as it won't harm your kids pre-shutdown GPA. Other places have said grades won't go down, but kids have a chance to improve them. And then there's Seattle Public Schools... Initially they didn't even want to try any online because of "inequity". Now every kid gets a focking A: https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/as-for-all-is-the-most-seattle-thing-ever-and-cover-for-the-school-districts-own-poor-marks/ Christ. Gotta love this quote from the superintendent: Quote " Grading has historically rewarded those students who experience privilege, and penalized others,” said Seattle schools Superintendent Denise Juneau
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted April 22, 2020 Our kids are pass/fail for this trimester. Sort of a bummer for my son who is a junior and needed good grades to pump up his GPA, but there is a life lesson there. Of course, he was taking total sh!t classes, so I don't expect an A in basket-weaving would have helped him much.
