Supreme court to review Bill Cosby conviction.

Recommended Posts

I always love the legal argument that "I'm not denying I did these horrible things but you shouldn't convict me anyways."

Will anyone be surprised if they overthrow the conviction and never go back to trial?

yes.  Appeals courts hear criminal appeals all the time, overturned, not so much.

Its a GREAT SJW experiment and I LOVE to see how these play out.

What is more powerful right now.  The people of color movement or #metoo?

And don't forget this month is SUPPOSED To be LGBTQ+ month---overshadowd by current events.  I'm shocked they have been as quiet as they have been.

There are 3 women on the PA Supreme Court (2 are Dems), all 3 voted to over turn.  Of the 4 who voted to overturn, 3 were Democrats.

For this case, nope. Cosby got railroaded. He incriminated himself at a civil trial under an agreement that he would not be prosecuted in a criminal trial. Then the state reneged. I'll be surprised if he doesn't sue for damages. And win.

I didn't think of that.  Would he have a case for a violation of rights and/or false imprisonment?

I liked Bill Cosby, he was an important voice in society. And so, I was the last one off the bandwagon, but it eventually got to the point that I couldn't see how he could be innocent beyond a reasonable doubt anymore.
