Recommended Posts

This guy is awaiting trial for murders he committed 4 years ago? Yet congress can impeach Trump in 1 day?

Officer Keith Boyer was killed in 2017; Michael Christopher Mejia is awaiting trial

Los Angeles District Attorney (DA) George Gascón said Friday he will not seek the death penalty for an admitted gang member who killed a police officer and his own cousin.

Michael Christopher Mejia, 30, is awaiting trial on charges stemming from Feb. 20, 2017.

.....

During a taped interview with police, Mejia initially claimed to not remembering the killings because he was "high on drugs," but later admitted to all the killings and shootings, saying "all three of them had it coming," according to reports.

"They just got a taste of an L.A. gang member, real L.A. gang member," Mejia said. "You know what I mean?"

He was backed by the Jew George Soros.

Soros is doing that for DA's and other offices across the country.  The DA that tried to prosecute the couple for holding guns on their front porch to deter peaceful protestors from destroying their home in St. Louis was also backed by Soros.

All of these recalls in CA are so stupid.  Even if they recall someone, they're still going to put another Democrat in their place who'll do the same thing.  :dunno:

Not necessarily.  This is the first DA in Los Angeles that I can remember that was this nutso.  And the people should have known what type of person he was because of his record in SF.  Hopefully they'll be more discerning next time.

They just vote for the name on the ballot with a "D".  They don't actually care about their record.  I mean, it's no different than anywhere else.  Everyone's voting for the lesser of evils, not the best person for the job.

I'm not in favor of the death penalty either, except for rare cases like spies or terrorists who are national security risk even while in prison.

However, at least murderers on death row do the hardest time there is.  Living in general population is too easy. Execution is too easy. On death row they suffer for decades. Still not worth it pros/cons wise, but it's something.
