So you can't comment on the facts I see? People want paradise scenarios without recognizing that paradise doesn't exist

Not in your focking world. You sound like a mess.

This is why so many people have an issue with education right now.  We've gone too far left. I said in my first post in this thread that teachers have too often become activists. All this BS about race and gender theory, BLM, and the nutjob in Cali saying that parents should give up their kids to the state. Its all smoke and mirrors to divide us and to cloak the push for Socialism.  That's the end goal to all these precious efforts for equity. This is why Terry Mcauliffe isn't the Gov of Va right now. They've exposed themselves that they don't want to teach your kids, they want to raise your kids.  Parents don't want to write fuking ciriculum for schools.  But they do want a say as to whether their education system is built on a "Marxist framework".

That video does not do what you or the YouTuber thinks it does. Such pearl clutching. Do you want your fainting couch?

Ok...so please explain to a non-educator why "Marxist framework" should be mentioned in the same breath as education.

How is it that someone like you tries so hard and completely fails at all attempts to make a coherent point?

The Marxist framework in education tries to make classroom education more of a collaboration of students and more critical of learning than just the old method of students sitting at desks passively taking notes from teachers. It looks to make classrooms more student-centered as opposed to teacher centered. Basically teachers are facilitators designing assignments pushing students to show their knowledge in different creative ways that are unique to them.

I find it interesting in the video that she says "Understand a Marxist framework and you'll understand how it applies" and these people basically can't even pretend like they will try to read it.

I also find it funny that this was not a woman speaking to teachers. I also find it funny that you think even if she was that teachers would retain any of this. Let me tell you how Professional Development meetings like this go. Someone talks for an hour or two in August....what they said is forgotten by September. PD like this is basically just a school saying "Ok, we did this. We checked the box, now let's move on."

In Fairfax county VA the teachers there play a game called “Privilege Bingo”.  Is that in the curriculum? How is that allowed?

You sound so incredibly clueless when you make comments about education and teachers.

Did you ask if all cops kneel on a guys neck for 9 minutes a while back?  How is what was posted clueless? It’s a fact. Look it up.

You're acting like it happens in all schools because it happened in one place.  You have a pretty strong bias against teaching and our education system.  I haven't seen you offer any good suggestions on how to many any decent improvements either.

Sure I have. No national teachers union is a good start. Why do you lie so much? And why aren’t you complaining? They are failing. Do you like that our schools are failing? Does anyone deny this anymore?
