Currently the second longest active streak in the league behind the Sabres...

Congrats...

You really have to be bad to not make the playoffs in hockey. And they 7 more points than the Blackhawks. :(

Yeah, but at least Detroit has um, hmm, never mind.

It's a sh*tty era for all the teams simultaneously.

They all hit rock bottom that last few years and are now just starting to rebound.  What Matt Patricia did to the Lions was historically has to be the worst dumpster fire in history.  The Tigers downfall was giving aging Verlander and Miggy huge paydays instead of younger talent like Scherzer and JD and have sucked ever since.

The Red Wings fall was drastic, going from 24 consecutive playoffs to a bottom feeders.  The Pistons have been bottom feeders too for years.

All four are just starting to bounce off the bottom.  I really like Brad Holmes.  He had a solid draft last year and has a boatload of early picks this year.  The Tigers have some young talent and Hinch is an excellent manager.  Still a couple years away, but they are accending to at least medicrocy.

The tigers are finally coming out of the payroll hell Dombroski put them in.

Never forget the Matt Millen era. That was the worst dumpster fire in history.

Red Wings sold their future to keep barely making the playoffs and they are paying for it now

The Pistons need some luck because they will never bring in great FA.
