drafted players not playing this week that come to mind so far are Fleetwood and Berger.

I say we roll as is. With 10 roster spots, we can handle a WD.

Berger is ranked 83. If he doesn't play this week, I don't think it is possible for him to play next week. 

I have no problem with Horse or Clocaine picking replacements.

Alternates would be weird in this format where we will have players flat out not qualifying for the next events and by the time we hit the tour championship there will be no alternates available. That’s why we are drafting deep teams. 
 

replacement pick is a replacement pick, imo. If the replaced player comes back for the BMW, you wouldn’t get them back.

But, I choose to keep Fleetwood because it's not worth the hassle.

Well I’m of the mind frame that if one of your golfers is not in the field for week 1, you should be able to replace them. It’s not an alternate. It’s not an “if Fleetwood or Berger or whoever come back then I own them”. It’s giving up the guy who is up In the air and picking a new golfer.
