dogcows 1,029 Posted October 18, 2022 If you sack the QB, it’s roughing the passer. But they also won’t call “in the grasp” when you’ve got arms around the QB in the pocket? Broncos had Herbert in the grasp and could have slammed him down, but didn’t, and he gets a pass off. I think the refs are forcing replay on it. Intentionally done. They have already defined what is illegal, so automatic replay on roughing would be fast.
