I'm addicted to winter time simulator golf now. I've been going 3 times per week. Short game is clunky, but its perfect for working on your swing and dialing in your distances.

Nice! Yeah I went last Saturday night and I’m going again Thursday night the 22nd for Jets/Jags

we usually have 4 of us. 4 hours. Range-18 holes- range again if we have time 

And yes the short game is useless. Chipping is clunky and bunker shots you just play like a chip or pitch shot anyway. It will take a little off the distance when it says “70%” or whatever. Like tiger woods golf. 
 

the place I go has a nice synthetic putting green in the main room. If we wanted to waste time we could putt out there and input how many putts but we just let it sim the putting.

My place does 5 hours for $120. I go with one buddy and we do 15 minutes of range to warm up and have just enough time to get 3 rounds/54 holes in after that.

That’s a nice price. The one guy we go with is a member so he gets a few hours free each month but I think it’s still $40 per hour as a member. Membership also means we can be there alone until 2am if we want. 
we order a few pies and bring beer. The golfing isn’t slow but between watching sports, eating and drinking we need 3 hours for 18
