Fock You, you piece of sh!t Jonathan Taylor.  Hurt your vagina on your one and only focking play.

Well, after JT dug me a massive hole, here comes Schultz who did his best Hogan’s Heroes impersonation…”I see nothing”, and scored me a whole 2 pts.

To top it off,  Buffalo Def is out played at home and in the cold by Miami and got me another 2 pts.

Hard to advance when 3 starters fail to score more than 6 pts combined.

So, FU Schultz and Buff Def/St.

Amazingly I managed to win, so I'll be back here bitching next week

I thought everyone here always wins.

I will say, it gives me pause when the talking heads and other fantasy "experts" say they didn't make their playoffs. Ok then! Why should anyone listen to you!?! 🤪

Of my four teams , only three made the playoffs, but all my teams are still battling for total points rewards.

I don't think there is such a thing as a fantasy football "expert" some are certainly better than others because it isn't 'all luck'  You have those owners who have no interest in the game, you know the ones, when they have an injury, they do zero research on their own. All they do is wait until the 1000's of WW articles come out on Tuesday morning & choose someone recommended. Others pay attention to developing trends. Zay Jones is a great example. I noticed his emergence because I drafted Christian Kirk. I could have grabbed him & at least kept another owner from doing so weeks ago, but didn't have the guts. The key is noticing a player who's coming on, & grabbing him BEFORE there's 10,000 Tuesday morning articles telling all the 'drones' to do so. To those who noticed him, & played him yesterday, hats off to you.

Every one of us (including Axe) make both great & terrible moves on a weekly basis. I made 2 great ones this week. The first was starting Raheem Mostert at Buffalo Saturday night.

The 2nd was yesterday morning at 11:57 AM. On nothing more than a gut feeling, I dropped Pat Freiermuth & took a chance on Taysom Hill. Muth wasn't even targeted, & Hill had 17 pts. I'm a genius right ?

Not so fast. I also made a terrible move by thinking that the Chiefs (playing at the Texans) could do something the Cowboys couldn't do at home the week before. Score a bunch of defensive points against them.

Matthew Berry (because of the huge exposure) is probably the most influential fantasy football 'expert' out there. Looked at his love/hate for week 15 (QB's)

His QB loves were Justin Herbert - Dak Prescott & Mike White ( if he played) His hates were Derek Carr & Jared Goff

Here's the top 20 QBs from week 15. Prescott is number #8 (with Zach Wilson right behind him in 9th :) Herbert didn't even make the top 20, while the 2 he hated did.

1 Jalen Hurts PHI 36.70 1 36.70
2 Josh Allen BUF 35.86 1 35.86
3 Kirk Cousins MIN 34.40 1 34.40
4 Patrick Mahomes II KC 32.74 1 32.74
5 Trevor Lawrence JAC 27.82 1 27.82
6 Joe Burrow CIN 25.80 1 25.80
7 Justin Fields CHI 23.58 1 23.58
8 Dak Prescott DAL 22.24 1 22.24
9 Zach Wilson NYJ 20.38 1 20.38
10 Derek Carr LV 20.24 1 20.24
11 Davis Mills HOU 18.94 1 18.94
12 Tom Brady TB 18.58 1 18.58

16 Andy Dalton NO 14.14 1 14.14
17 Jared Goff DET 14.08 1 14.08
18 Mitch Trubisky PIT 14.06 1 14.06
19 Taylor Heinicke WAS 13.26 1 13.26
20 Sam Darnold CAR 13.20 1 13.20

that is a one week sample.  Sure, you can stream and try to get a decent match up.  the top qb's (and other positions as well) typically provide consistency.

Lawrence starting emerging in week 10

geno and goff are fading.

tua is not consistent.

it comes down to how do you want to attain your points?  who had a stronger likelihood to score 40 points, Herbert or Lawrence?

Like I said it’s been pretty consistent this whole season. You said that was a one week simple, but double digit round qbs have been in the doing pretty good this season.  You draft one late and stream, of you back during the season they might not be the top qbs but in the top 12 pretty often imo.  Herbert Vs Lawrence question doesn’t matter to me, I wouldn’t own Herbert based on his ADP. So I would say Lawrence for me since he’s someone I would own .

Thanks.

Before Geno last game Vs a darn good Niners def he scored, 25,24,26,30,27, that’s not fading.  Lol.
