I think a few things.  Firstly, we have already admitted that we clearly have an issue in our schools and that issue seems to disproportionately impact AA's notably.

So if we can first agree that this point is true, then we can get into the weeds. Family is the thing, it always has been and always will be.  Kids with a solid home life enjoy a pribiledge of sorts.  If we can first fix AA homes.....I think we can make extravagant progress in short order.

I keep observing this notion coming up all over the place.  First it was safe spaces, and then you had situations like at Evergreen, and more and more I see this ideas that segregating AA's away to themselves is a net good. That somehow they need protection of "whiteness" etc. I just cannot get behind that. 

I think everyone can work well together and all the rest is just manipulation by powerful people.
