The ***OFFICIAL*** Eagles - Niners NFCCG thread!

Recommended Posts

PHI led the league in sacks this season, and not by fluke. PHI's defensive front out-manned and straight up beat SF's offensive line (just rushing 4), that's why the won the game. They didn't just knock out 1 QB out, they whipped them up front and knocked out 2. It wasn't penalties that cost SF the game. Last week they held Micah and our wrs more than a few times, all went w/out a call. They in fact enjoyed a 3 to 7 flag advantage - now penalties are a thing?

As far as Brock, let's not get too carried away. Yes, he's been pretty good - but all need to stop acting like SF lost the 2nd coming of Montana and Young. Last week, at home, his offense managed all of 19 points - which included 218 yards and zero tds from the kid. SF gave up 31 - Brock wasn't matching that.

The 2 best teams made it to the SB - kinda cool when that happens.

Jalen Hurts is who we thought he was.

I hate the 2 weeks between games before the SB. Too many boring stories about people I don't give a crap about.

Just rest for a week and play the game. Didn't they used to at least switch off yearly around the 1 week and 2 weeks off?

The pro bowl used to be after the super bowl.  Wasn't there a week though before playoffs started after the regular season or something?

It's ever evolving it seems. The most popular thing on TV and the networks and the league never say never when it comes to maximizing their power of the profit.

I'll never get on them about it really in the end, but I do find a lot more down time that I'm not interested in. Even if it were my own favorite team honestly. I'm a big NFL fan and my favorite sports station is NFL radio on XM. I truly find the offseason more interesting to listen to than the second week before the SB. And it's not even close. I also wish maybe they had the concerts before and after the game for those who like it so much, instead of in the middle of the game. It would be nice to see the teams have the same timing routine between the halves and during game timeouts.

If they get it pushed back one more week it falls on Presidents’ Day weekend.

I would expect this won't be allowed in the super bowl

You realize that was a 1-foot penalty in a game Philly won by 24 right?

He was doing it all day, not just that play.

There are false starts and holding that don’t get called on both sides all game every game.

Sad cope.

He was doing it last week too and it was obvious and brought up. But as usual in a blow out it gets pushed aside. But it’s still happening.  Not good for the game.

I think the need to expand rosters, especially for the playoffs.  Suit up a third qb and maybe it's a more interesting game.

If for no other reason the whole new concussion enforcement rules prove your point.
