🇺🇸Father Trump Talk-🚨The Official Thread of MAGA🚨 It’s Go Time

Recommended Posts

You guys spend an unhealthy volume of time obsessing over and whining about liberals.

No reason for us liberals to have an ounce of respect for MAGAs when they spend so much time spewing anti-liberal hate.

Amazing how many social-media posts I've seen regarding food stamps, with comments such as "Get a job."

Tell that to all the disabled people who can't work and depend on food stamps to eat.

And the young children of impoverished families.

Disabled people are still eligible for SNAP.  Stop lying.

“I might not have food stamps next month, which is going to hurt me big time,” says 62-year-old Brenda Lawson who is one of thousands of SNAP recipients in East Texas.

“That’s what helps me get by each month,” says Lawson.

Lawson receives $113 monthly in SNAP benefits. She says it’s a struggle to make ends meet sometimes since she’s disabled.

“I’m unable to work,” says Lawson. I have difficulties walking....I’ve had three surgeries on my back."

You have anything to back up that the disabled won't be affected?

Disabled individuals can file for an exemption; they must prove that they cannot work even 80 hours a month. If their disability shows that they can indeed work, then they will lose some of their benefits.

Affected? Yes. Losing ALL benefits? Not necessarily.

The law went into effect immediately, but the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service gave states until Nov. 1 to comply. The act, among other provisions, eliminated certain exceptions to the program’s work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents between the ages of 55 and 65 and adults with dependents between the ages of 15 and 18.

Homeless people, veterans and those ages 24 and younger who are no longer in foster care must also adhere to the work requirements, which stipulate that a person must prove they are working at least 80 hours per month, pursuing an education or in a training program to qualify for SNAP benefits.

Also, not all states are affected, some of them have their own programs. States need to quit relying on the Federal Govt to provide for them. States should be able to operate self sufficiently without Govt always stepping in. At least that's my opinion.

SNAP benefits, formerly known as food stamps, are funded by the Department of Agriculture (USDA). The federal government shares the cost of administering the program with states, while states operate their own programs.

But there will be disabled people and children who won't be getting food. Period.

If you can't prove that you need SNAP with valid requirements, then you will lose them. 🤷‍♀️  Shouldn't it be this way to eliminate fraud and waste?

How many social media posts have you seen where people (mostly women) are talking about how their $4k in benefits is being cut? They have fake nails, fake lashes, decent cars...

Quote

Some SNAP households will lose SNAP eligibility or have their benefits cut starting in late 2025 or in 2026 as a result of the Republican megabill that President Trump signed into law on July 4, 2025. In particular, some people will be cut from SNAP due to the law’s expansion of a rule limiting SNAP to three months in a three-year period for certain individuals who can’t document that they are exempt (for example, because of a disability) or are working or participating in a qualifying activity for 20 hours a week or more. In addition, certain immigrants who are living lawfully in the United States and have been granted humanitarian protection by the federal government will be cut from SNAP, and benefits will be reduced for some households without an elderly or disabled member who can’t provide documentation of their utility costs.

Many current participants will face these cuts when their SNAP eligibility is next recertified. States recertify eligibility for most SNAP households every six or 12 months. If a state takes action earlier than the next recertification, the household should receive a notice and an opportunity to provide additional information before their benefits are terminated or reduced.[1]

If you are disabled and cannot work and have dependents, just prove it...and you'll keep your SNAP.

If I apply for unemployment with the state of CA, I have to prove weekly that I am looking for a job. Including creating an account on the state's career finder site that posts state jobs. If I don't do that, then I will get a call that my benefits are done.

Why is it so hard or unreasonable to hold people accountable?

MAGAs have this odd tendency to throw babies out with the bathwater, much like they did for the 2020 election when a few fake votes were found.

As part of their efforts to cut costs, the government has also created additional barriers for those wishing to maintain their benefits. Many of these eligible folks will need to reapply, with more stringent measures, that in many cases they aren't aware of prior to applying.

Bottom line: hungry people will be more hungry, in a faltering economy/job market. Those of us fortunate enough to not have to rely on these programs rarely understand the nuts and bolts of qualification.

Yeah, but while children and disabled people starve to death, they'll be able to cut off a few folks who exploit the system.

Go America!

MAGA controls the White House, Senate, House and Supreme Court.

I'm sure they could come up with a way to keep children, veterans and disabled people from starving to death.

Trump gets the blame for the shutdown. He said it himself years ago that the president is responsible.

Of course, he's gone back on a lot of things he has said, and the MAGA minions believe it.

Many people are asking about the Trump MRI. My sources say he needed his shoulder checked out after only shooting 2 under this weekend.
