If he pays it out as a bonus instead of keeping it as a BAH supplement, then military members will have to pay taxes on it. So he might actually be taking Congressionally-approved money away from soldiers. Hopefully it’s just bluster and they keep it as a tax-free housing supplement. This f-er’s ego… taking credit for something he didn’t do, and possibly increasing soldiers’ taxes in the process.

One of our neighbors is a liberal couple, as liberal as they come - Ukraine sign in the front yard, vegan, electric car, no jobs.   We just agree not to talk politics when we hang out. They're good people if you separate them from their social media and politics.  I even choke down crappy vegan food out of courtesy when we go to their place to play cards.  

I think his name is Pat, but, I keep calling him Jay for some reason. So I just refer to him as Fist Bump Guy because I don't think he ever went back to shaking hands after covid.  Very talented couple though, musicians, crafts, any of the liberal arts. Jay is like my best friend now after I gave him a huge bag of our home-grown.
