Watching Trump’s press conference, it’s hard to believe how many outright lies he is telling. All Presidents exaggerate and stretch the truth but no one until this man says the opposite of the truth with such consistency. 
 

For example he says Biden gave 360 billion to Ukraine and got none of it back. Actually we have spent 180 billion and gotten almost all of it back because it mostly went to our defense industries. Trump has been told this over and over and yet he continues to repeat the lie. 
 

He and Musk say they’ve saved billions and billions of dollars and it will soon approach a trillion. It’s doubtful that they’ve even saved a billion dollars and the new tax cuts will increase the debt by several trillion. 
 

Just lie after lie after lie. But on the other hand when he says the tariffs are coming on April 2, I believe him.

The biggest lie of all, which is one that Republicans have been telling for years, and which Trump has doubled and tripled down on, is that you can balance the budget and reduce the debt by cutting waste, fraud and abuse, and cut taxes. It can’t be done. At some point you have to cut defense, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. That’s 86% of the budget. This whole business is a fraud. It’s bogus. Maybe someday the public will realize this.
