Strike 5,369 Posted June 17, 2023 Look at the results of the issues section of this poll. Politicians are doing the exact OPPOSITE of what the voters want on just about every issue: https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/HHP_June2023_KeyResults.pdf
The Real timschochet 6,575 Posted June 17, 2023 It tells me that the country is center-right. Not center-left, not extreme right nor progressive but center-right. It tells me that Republicans have winning issues on immigration, gender affirming care, and most of all the economy. It tells me that Biden is unpopular and too old and easily beatable. If Republicans can just find a way to avoid Trump they should be in very good shape for 2024. But they can’t seem to avoid Trump, so none of this is probably going to matter. I have always felt most of the country was center right, center left. Why the extremes get the publicity is unknown. As a country we need Trump and Biden not to have a geezer rematch. This There's not a soul on this planet who could possibly agree with Biden's fraudulent policies and political failures. If this was Trump in office he'd be crucified. The Republicans need someone other than Trump, with a tinge of common sense who's not too far right. Both parties are off the rails right now. I wish we had a legitimate 3rd party candidate who can bring us all back to center.

They want you to switch from Trump to a milquetoast candidate, someone like Bush41, who will be handed the football and show massive weakness, which will cause republican voters to lose heart, and then the democrats can get the ball rolling again. Fock no. Trump for president. Give it right back to those assh0le liberal focks. I'll gladly deal with the consequences of liberals losing their minds. I want a civil war against these insane focks. I’ve tried to offer a fair analysis of the political situation, separate from my own beliefs. Of course personally as a liberal I would prefer Biden to nearly any Republican running. But my judgment is that Biden will lose to any Republican except Trump. You guys want to reject this and nominate Trump anyhow, you’re going to get another 4 years of Biden. And you’ll have lost an election you could have rather easily won.

If you need clarification on this, PM @supermike80. 2) 2.4 % isn't a trouncing, especially as a forecast. 3) I think there are enough ballots left to exceed that margin. Again, all I'm saying is you might want to slow your roll. On 11/3/2022 at 12:19 PM, Strike said: Your article doesn't have a link to the data. Either way, anyone who believes polls is an idiot. So you've got that going for you....... On 10/26/2020 at 11:02 AM, Strike said: I think this has a lot to do with the general mindset of those types of people. Conservatives tend to be more of the small government/keep out of my life kind of mindset while Libs tend to want government to take care of them so they're ok with the intrusion. This would extend to things like polls. I know I either hang up on pollsters or fock with them. They won't get any real data from me. But Libs love telling others how they should act and/or vote so I'm sure they're fine with talking to pollsters and anyone else who will listen. Strike, consistent as always.
