WR Jordan Addison Charged with Reckless Driving...140 mph

Recommended Posts

But let's ban guns because people are irresponsible and don't need them but they need their cars to get to work.

PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers receiver Jordan Addison has found himself in some trouble with his first NFL training camp set to begin in a week.

Addison, who played for Pitt from 2020-21, was pulled over and charged with reckless driving by Minnesota State Patrol after he was clocked driving 140 miles per hour in a Lamborghini, according to a report from Sports Illustrated's Bill Enright.

I don't think that's simply a bad choice. 95 in a 65 is a bad choice. 140 anywhere but in controlled environment should be serious prison time.

Agree, anywhere other than a track, that's insane.

Who hasn't done 140. My only problem is with where he did it. It was on 94 inside St Paul city limits.

That is too populated of an area. If he did it on backroad highways in eastern north Dakota then it is not an issue.

Flat, straight roads, no trees, no houses, and cars at most every 10 minutes.

Some parts of the country there is not many cars on the road.

Highway 95, O boy that’s a good one to fly on,  no police.

If he was going 31 mph faster, smoking crack, and on his way to bang hookers, he wouldn't have gotten a ticket. You can't get into trouble for that.

Shocked there is ever a time when that road is open enough to go that speed.   Do they still refer to the interchange there as spaghetti junction?

Terrible take on this. Anyone driving 140 on highways deserves a bad fate.

No worries. I hear he's booking a party boat on Minnetonka and inviting his team mates to make amends for his mistake.

Only 140? What a puss, that thing does at least 200

Perhaps he wasn't 'driving'
