Look, HT and followers I know it's hard for you to hold two thoughts in your head, but we will try.     Just because it's "based on a true story" doesn't mean it's not fiction.   Those two are both true statements.  Real person/events + actors/characters/made up parts to a story = fiction movie.     It's that creative license that the filmmakers have that make it a work of fiction.   We were busting balls with the dumb examples, but yes - even in those "based on true story" movies there is a wide range of accuracy and how much of real life is in it.  You can have Psycho to  JFK to American Sniper.  All fiction movies with varying levels of accuracy and sticking to real events.
