In most instances for first offenses, no. But they don't get off Scot-free with no penalty as has been stated here.numerous times. Plus I imagine repeat offenders do get a stiffer sentence in some cases up the maximum allowed by the PC.

Mostly my point was to laugh at how easily wound up you get, which is also why these guys bring it up.   

BUT, I believe more what their and my point was is that we should be thinking about where they get the idea that this is ok.   This isn't just one person, and examples like this are becoming more common.    Is it lax laws? simple anti-corporation crap?  a feeling of entitlement?     To me clearly something is wrong - groups of people don't do this without the reward being higher than the risk.    Why do you think this is becoming a common thing? 

I used to own a small business, and this pisses me off to no end.

Why do we care about the political affiliation?   The public is an constant argument of "where are most of the US problems stemming from".  We have been for the past 10-15 years. 

You, in particular,  don't care because "caring" infers that you'd you "argue for your side"-- and in this case, you have no argument, therefore, you don't want to argue, therefore you downplay the entire thing. 

Point we are trying to make is, that crime is  a problem, and most violent crime is committed by liberals.  We have video proof, backed by statistics of who is in jail and who people vote for to validate that argument in stone.

There are many many reasons that the urban poor are in the situation they’re in. I agree with you that lack of self-responsibility is part of it. But the legacy of racism is also a part of it. Liberals shouldn’t pretend it’s all the one, and conservatives shouldn’t pretend it’s all the other. It’s a combination and whether you feel responsible or not, as an American you, I and everyone here have a duty to try and fix it as best we can. Have a happy Thanksgiving.

I think we can give each other more credit than this.  No, that's not quite was I was asking.  We all understand crime in general goes up as poverty does.  

More specifically, if it was just economics I'd expect this in other areas and communities with similar results, but it doesn't seem to be. It's also not in their neighborhoods, it's more commercial districts.   To me, something else is going on than simply shrugging it off as poor kids doing poor kid stuff.
