Here is the post where he forgot to log out of League Champion and was talking to himself using the Blue Horseshoe style.  Looks like pretty clear evidence to me.  League Champion was just a schtick, that’s why the style seemed different

IMO, Joe could have avoided all of his concerns by putting up a warning for the Political Forum, something like “the people posting in here can be rude, crass and insulting. Disagreement on issues sometimes brings that out. If you’re easily offended please stay away.” And then he could have avoided almost all of the moderation issues and let things fly.

It is an easy mistake to make. When I played around with my Kim Jong il alias back in the day, sometimes I'd leave and go do something. When I'd come back, often I'd have forgotten that I was logged out of my regular user name, and so -it must have been three or four times - that I'd be making serious posts as Kim rather than ridiculous ones.

I didn’t have any aliases here. On FBG I had an alias or two about 10 years ago as a joke. But what’s the point? Everybody knew who I was from my writing style.

I said at the time that was essentially "hot air" on your part and that you couldn't ever stay away for an extended period of time.

When Joe made the decision to close the forum he said it was a result of a call from people on both the left and right, but the only one I remember asking to shut it down on the left was you.

That was one time. I was really frustrated by the personal insults flying around. I had reported a few people and I was sick of that; I don’t like turning people in. I just wanted the insults to stop. 

There were several times that Joe contemplated shutting down the forum. When that happened I publicly urged him not to. Except for one time towards the end. I don't like how that forum was run but it was Joe's prerogative to do as he liked and I do know he engaged in a whole lot of time and effort for years on end to patrol it as he saw fit. As for Mike, you hardly see him and most everything goes through. It's run like Biden's border wall around here.

I think it’s fine. People insult each other. Who cares? I’ve been called every ugly name there is. I’m sure you have to. If you’re somebody who is bothered that somebody called you names on a message board, you’re a very weak and weird person. 
 

The insults don’t bother me but they do bore me. Especially when they get in the way of what might otherwise be a pretty decent discussion and debate. That happens here sometimes but not as often as it should because there are some folks who just want to troll and call each other names. So I wish we had a little less of that. But I’ll never report anyone unless they post personal info about me. That’s unacceptable.

In my case, 95% of the time I can successfully tap dance through the minefield. You'd be surprised how infrequently I get dragged in the mud. Not like what you've had to endure, and despite that you are way more polite and kind than I am. I've tried to dial back my snarkiness to make my posting style more like yours because I respect that about you.

Joe wasn't or isn't liberal, at least from what I recall of his postings and my exchanges with him. And he was very conservative in some of the polls that he ran where he would ask for a "Yes or No" answer to complex issues that are nuanced and can't always be simply answered in the affirmative or in the negative.

What about pickup trucks?  I drive a Frontier having downsized from a Ram 1500.  My Frontier does not have a full lift but I have had a leveling kit installed which has lifted it some.  Does this information help predict my weiner size or would it just be easier to know i am Irish?
