RLLD, who is one of my favorite posters here, is attempting to justify his penchant for broad accusations toward large groups of people by saying, basically, that libs do it too. I reject that, being a lib that does not engage in that behavior (mostly; I'm not perfect). He also maintains that he is fair minded and doesn't buy into the blue/red hysteria, yet attacks the ENTIRETY of "the left" regularly. I'm simply pointing out that dichotomy. 

These large groups are not monolithic and don't all agree with everything "their side" does or says. So statements like "libs are pedos" are flat-out lies. That's just an example, I don't recall RLLD saying that specifically. The closest thing we have in this country to a large group of people that agree on damn near everything are the MAGA contingent. Nuff said.

When Obama was running for president back in '07, the Democrats adopted the mantra of "anyone who disagrees with Obama, is doing it because they're racist".  That was the beginning of the whole identity politics slant this country has been on ever since.  They didn't stop either.  In 2015, their mantra was "anyone who agrees with Trump is a fascist, racist...".  So, for the last what, 17 years or so, the Democrat party has been painting the conservatives with the broadest of all brushes.  NOW, when a conservative does it to you, you're panties are all in a bunch.  Forgive me (I don't meant that really), if I say, stfu you piece of crap hypocrite.

This is pretty hyperbolic. ALL dems called ALL of those that didn't vote for Obama racists? They called ALL Trump voters racists and fascists?

 THIS is the crux of my argument. It drives me nuts when anyone does this, regardless of their political leanings. It's stupid to say, stupid to think, and completely untrue. Those that think all Republicans are racists are focking idiots. Those that think all Democrats are pedos- same.

I use the term MAGAmook frequently. In my mind, these are the folks that think Trump is some sort of messianic figure. They give him money, they hate liberal ideology and in many cases liberals themselves, they are low information rubes voting on grievances and willing to commit political violence on Trump’s behalf. So although it's a pretty big group, I'm narrowing it down specifically so I'm not calling out every Republican, conservative, non-Biden voter; just the ones that are in so deep with MAGA that it's become like a religion.

Bad actors on the left with similar beliefs about conservatives can fuk right off, they're just as bad. 

Also, I'll point out, AGAIN, that this garbage didn't start with Obama. Go back to the late 80s/early 90s when Rush Limbaugh took over middle American politics while using awful, demeaning terms to describe liberals. The dude coined the term Feminazi, FFS. Newt Gingrich took those identity politics directly to the forefront of Republican politics. Suddenly obstruction became the default position when team red was in the minority. Doesn't matter if nothing gets done, so long as the Democrats don't get political wins. That was the sea change in my lifetime, not Obama. Plus, let's face it, there WAS a lot of racial animus toward Obama whether you want to admit it or not.
