You’re not listening. They’re all his trials because they’re all indictments from “his” grand jury. Your reliance on stupid people for your claims is disturbing but not a surprise. Your odds aren’t relevant because you’re claiming the use of a system to choose judges not in effect.

im not too cowardly; I simply have a life. I went out to watch a game. But keep fulminating as I make you look like a complete idiot parroting the nonsense from your hero’s camp. More soon. :)

And quickly: you realize trump is the only one who is convicted 34 times of interfering with an election, right?

Did you just reply to your own post and own yourself?

Yeah, noone is worried about you.  You'll fit right in with the rest of the retards on the left.

20 absentee ballots in a NY state democratic primary in 2022?  You think that's ballot stuffing in the 2020 general election for Biden?

The US has a long history of unfairly treating black criminals.   Even as recently as the 1990's, prosecutors were known to unjustly exclude black jurors in order to obtain death penalty for black defendants.  Trump's case was far more rigged though because not only was the jury pool set to exclude sympathetic jurors, but the judge was illegally selected and the laws were manipulated to ensure a conviction.

It is funny to see the propaganda machine in full force spinning Trump's criticism of this heavuly rigged case as unfounded and dangerous.   Of course the usual bootlicking idiots will parrot those articles.

With Batson v. Kentucky having been decided in 1986 I would maintain the practice you mention here did not occur in the 1990's.  I would not argue that it did not occur before the ruling in 1986, but after, I would argue otherwise.

Following his felony convictions. Donald Trump was required to report to probation services to prepare a post conviction pre sentencing report for Judge Merchan. Trump blew off the requirement and left the courthouse before he visited with his new probation officers. That may have been a big mistake Judge Merchan depends on the probation report to determine Trump’s sentence. If he cannot follow the rules of probation. Prison may be the necessary sentence.

Whether Trump is sentenced to prison, probation or a ‘split sentence’ of prison and probation. Probation services are about to be a big part of Donald Trump’s life. Criminals on probation are supposed to accept their guilt and show some signs of remorse and retribution for their crimes. Trump is not likely to do that. If Trump doesn‘t follow the rules. He can and will be violated and sentenced to prison.

As a convicted felon, Trump no longer has the freedoms that are afforded to those of us without a felony conviction. One restriction will be on Trump’s travel. As a convicted felon Trump will need permission to leave his state of residence. His passport will be seized and any foreign travel will be prohibited or greatly restricted by his rules of probation. Not only that but many countries do not allow felons to enter their county. This conviction will drastically change Trump‘s life. I do not see Trump successfully completing a sentence of probation if that is his sentence.

I believe the author may have been looking for the term "remorse and contrition"  I have difficulty taking the article seriously as written.

I also doubt the premise of the article without lookng into it. The verdict came down late in the day.  I imagine the probation office was closing.  I find it difficult to believe Trump was suppose to report there that evening, but I suppose anything is possible even if I find it unlikely.

The analogies that Jon brings up whenever Trump gets into trouble are always fascinating. This one, regarding black jurors, is kind of mild. Usually there is no jury, just a rope hanging from a lonely tree somewhere. And even more likely than that a train ride to Auschwitz.

I find he gets carried away in his hyperbole.  When that happens I think his points are diminished.  I do not, however find his points negated, I simply find thier impact diminished, for me.  I mostly stay out of it with he and others in this thread.  I find the back and forth tedious.  That said when arguments or hyperbole involves misrepresentaion of the law, whether substantive or procedurally, I comment.  I probably should not as folks on a rant or a roll (the differenece is in the ear of the beholder) rarely take correction as a learning opportunity.  They tend to take it as opposition even when it is not meant to be.

Lol right because once a law is passed everyone follows and enforces it unanimously, despite a vigorous culture against it.

Sorry pal. As much as you try to revise history and change terms, it's not going to work.: 😂

Just like your side can't define what a woman is and has no idea what a man is so you just try to change the terms to fit your small, bigoted and feeble mind.

Your trump derangement syndrome has afflicted you to your very core to the point where you have no idea what reality is. Couldn't have happened to a better person! 🙂

Sounds like you spend a lot of time thinking about what a man is. It’s OK if you’re gay, really—you don’t need to hate on other LGBTQ folks just to make yourself feel safe.

1.  Biased Judge.  This judge illegally donated to a campaign to Stop Trump.  He did get reprimanded quietly, but was kept private until a couple days ago.  It should have been a basis to remove the judge.

Here, we’ll start again cause you’re slow and need the repetition. This complaint was brought by criminally stupid people like Stefanik, and the issue has been dismissed twice. Dropping $50 on ActBlue is such weak sauce they should sell it at Taco Bell.

18 hours ago, jonmx said:

2.  Illegally Selected Judge.  The judge is suppose to be selected randomly from a pool of over 25 judges.  There have been 5 Trump-related cases come though this district, and this judge was assigned to each of them.   That defies astronomical odds.

That’s not how judges are selected from GJ indictments, so no wonder you’re off on a wild goose chase here.

3.  Gag Order.  The legal precedence for a gag order used to justify a gag order is for the protection of a fair trail for the defendant and to gag the media.  Using that to gag Trump is a violation of his rights.

Guess you never watched the Chicago Seven trial. You can google it to find out what I’m referring to, I’ll wait.

18 hours ago, jonmx said:

4.  Illegal Charges and misleading jury instructions.  The basis of the case around Trump involves two statues which require a fraudulent business record and a charge which requires some conspiracy incorporating an unlawful means.  The unlawful means did not have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt or even agreed to amongst the jurists.  So we have two very vague misdemeanor offenses which requires other laws to be broken to make them a crime.  We were never told what these laws were and they did not have to be proven, just inferred.  A real court would have required that to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and have all the elements of that crime listed out.  This case makes no legal sense in there was no specific act or crime identified.  Trump was convicted and we have no basis to know what the actual crime he was convicted of.

The connection between the documented payments and the admitted payoffs for hush money to avoid bad election news, is indeed the part of the case that would offer the best opportunity for a defense, that’s correct. However the evidence for both individually—the paper trail and the various admissions as to why those ledger entries were made—is prima facie strong. But that’s beside the point, because Trump’s team never bothered to argue your line of defense. They offered no rational explanation for the payments and instead claimed everyone was lying. Which, coming from someone who lies like water flows from a tap, was understandably pointless to the jury.

18 hours ago, jonmx said:

5.  No Jurisdiction.  The underlaying law which had to be broken to make this case were all federal crimes.  They listed three possibilities.  Tax Fraud, Campaign Violations, and Bank Fraud.  These laws are all federal and literal cover hundreds of pages of law, none of which were specifically identified, explained, or even proven in court.  This New York court has no jurisdiction to consider that charges, but illegally brought them in by proxy of other laws which reference other crimes.  Even New York code defines crimes as violations of local and state laws and does not include federal law.  But yet this court referenced federal crimes in order to establish a basis for conviction.

He was charged with state crimes. He was convicted on state charges. If you’d like him to be convicted separately on federal charges, we can do that.

18 hours ago, jonmx said:

5.  Expiration of Statue of Limitations.  The statue of Limitations for this expired in 2019.  This court used excuses of extending the Statue of Limitations due to Trump being in office and covid and the other underlaying unnamed laws which have longer limits.

This one is hilarious. OK Kramer, the Statute of limitations? Lol. But too bad so sad Trumpy, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t say you’re immune in office then get upset that the clock wasn’t ticking while you’re in office. Cite the precedent that says it still runs.

18 hours ago, jonmx said:

6.  Political Motivated Prosecutor.  The prosecutor was in touch with the White House who helped direct the case.  He ran on getting Trump.  This was not a prosecution based upon a fair application of the law.

In touch how? When? Who did he talk to? What was said? You’re just throwing out a baseless, unsupported claim here. I guess it’s probably to your advantage that you claim these are your thoughts, because you’d be embarrassing anyone else to tag them as the source of these hopeful fantasies.

18 hours ago, jonmx said:

7.  Judge's rulings were grossly one-sided.  The judge constantly denied Defenses objection and sustained the Prosecution objection.  The judge rushed the trial and jury selection to make sure the case was tried to maximize the impact on the election.  The judge opened the door to allow every piece of salacious evidence in should Trump have testified, which is the very same reason they just overturned Weinsteins conviction.

This is what happens when you’re represented by absolute dumbfucks from Regents University who have virtually zero understanding of actual law on the books. Your client gets schooled and you look like total idiots. Blaming their incompetence on the judge is just sad.

To name just a few....
