Walz already has said he misspoke when he said on record one time like six years ago that he carried a weapon in a combat zone. 

He was deployed overseas, and he was command master sergeant at the time he submitted his retirement paperwork. He was downgraded after the fact, having not completed some coursework.

For all we know, he could have been part of a classified mission in a combat zone. 

Regardless, no one gives a chit outside MAGA circle.
