Or they just dismiss the source because it contains factual information that hurts their butts. They'll still try to deny it even if you link to Fox. They latch on to something they desperately want to believe and refuse to let go, ultimately just saying, "I'll believe what I want to believe."

Trumpers I see on social media keep posting a meme - with the caption "Remember on Nov. 5" - showing side-by-side photos of gas prices when they were at their lowest during COVID and then when they soared after Russia invaded Ukraine. 

They're in total denial of supply and demand and that gas prices are way down from where they were in 2022, which they could easily verify by taking notice at the gas stations all around them. 

But nooooooooo, they want to believe it's still 2022 so they can have something to whine and believe in Trump about.
