I love how they play the “I don’t know” bullshitt when confronted with facts.

Here is the link to where that quote is from, which includes correspondence between NGO-Monitor and ANERA (probably also worth noting that it’s from 2005):

https://www.ngo-monitor.org/reports/_american_near_east_refugee_aid_anera_aid_activity_tarnished_by_political_agenda_/

This quote is particularly of note IMO:

“We know as well as anyone that to realize the goals of our mission in a fundamental way, peace between Israel and the Palestinians must be realized. We think our projects help create the environment for this desired peace. And in this context, we implement projects not only with the Palestinians, but also we emphasize Israeli-Arab projects”

Do they have some bias, probably (likely as does the guy who wrote the initial report, I’m sure @Cdub100 noticed his name), but that’s a far cry from supporting Hamas, especially after 10/7/23.

We can agree to disagree. I am sure both sides are very fine people.

Sure, this argument has already occurred in this forum and just goes in circles, it’s no surprise that GC righties, who were already equating supporting civilians in Gaza as supporting Hamas, to now equating it to apparently supporting all of Islam and all terrorism that is done in the name of it

Good Luck Taylor

I know she is one of those lefties who is deferential to Muslims, I wonder if she understands how much those folks hate her? 🤔

I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift, but I'm also DEF not a fan of Muslims (any religion for that matter) and terrorism.  I'm glad whatever was planned got found out.

Let's tease this out. Your position is then that supporting a group does not then translate to supporting groups associated with that group, correct?

Agree, glad they caught them. Hopefully we have not allowed too many of those same folks to enter this nation.

Yes, but depends how you define “associated.” I’d argue that civilians that are being used as human shields by Hamas shouldn’t really considered “associated” with Hamas.

One of those arrested was a citizen of Austria.

They happily do it.  You have to understand the mentality on the ground, these people are not coerced to offer up their kids and family as human shields, this is something they do willingly....

It makes them formidable as an opponent. They call it al-Tatarrus and I witnessed mothers happily sacrificing their children.

Yep.  And we have not secured our southern border for years, they have caught some of these sub-humans, but lets hope not too many got in.

LOL, I'm not like some here who pin threads or link them all over the place like others.  He said MAGA was violent and gave me a link of 54 incidents over a 4 year period and "proof" that he was right.

ETA:  Again, I forget which thread, but he said he believed Smollette's story because MAGA was violent.  He then shared a link where the title said something about 54 cases connecting the acts of violence to Trump's rhetoric.  Note, that was over a 4 year period.

What I wrote is that the MAGA movement encourages political violence. I believe that is true. Just as I believe that a lot of Islam sects encourage  violence against homosexuals. In each case, only a tiny minority of those encouraged actually commit the violence.

GTFOH.   How would political violence lead you to believe that Jussie Smollett was telling the truth?
